This clay has done wonders for our pooch. It doesn’t have any oder or taste, as far as we can tell, for our fussy little fella to turn his nose up at. Goes straight into the food, using the measuring spoon inside the container. We did follow our Vets recommendation on dosage. It helps bind our pet’s bms from being so loose (diarrhea). It’s a little pricey but our Vet was charging more when purchasing this same product at the office. The health benefits outweigh the cost for us.

This one I like. It works great. I gave the recommended amount morning and evening. It started to correct it that day.I tried the one with the kaolin in it, that even my vet pushes. It made mine sick and gave severe runs. Again this clay worked great.

It helps with firming up stools

We have 3 dogs and they are part of our family. One of our German Shepherds has a very sensitive stomach, possibly IBD but not confirmed through biopsy. We have had him over a year now (he's 2) and have tried kibble to no avail. We have cooked for him since about April or May of last year. We have a nutritionist-created meal plan now and have been using that since about October. He still sometimes gets diarrhea or looser stool than normal. We know it can quickly progress into all liquid and will not self correct. We usually have to use metronidazole, which works for him but will ruin his gut in the long term.Before this product - we would come home to a mess in the dog room. He would sometimes go multiple times then we worry our other Shepherd will eat it. Not to mention the awful smell. He would have gas and just seem miserable. It would go from pudding to liquid very fast and then bloody, too. (sorry for the description) We would be afraid of dehydration. But then we tried this. What did we have to lose? It does not always work on it's own -sometimes we still use one or two doses of metro - but that's all. We don't have to give him 5 days of metro. Most of the time, if we catch it on the first episode, he won't have any accidents in the house after giving the clay! His next bowel movement will be firmer and by the second or third "diarrhea dose" - he is back to normal! I then give him the maintenance dose twice daily for a few days to a week. Once he is good for a few days, I stop giving it to him. He doesn't mind the taste. I mix it in a bit of his food and he eats it up. His energy stays up and we don't have to worry as much. Very thankful! Life changing!

Purchased twice. The first jar was a life saver! My cat has diarrhea and Rx Clay helped to firm up her stool. I recently ran out and purchased again. This time kitty doesn’t like the taste and her diarrhea is not improving. Very disappointing!
