Does the job, but heavy to lift with 2 monitors of unequal weight
This does make it so you can sit/stand, and i really like the size of the platform and the handle mechanisms on the sides. But I have to say, if you've got a bad back, you might want to avoid this one. It obviously has some kind of lift assist mechanism, but trust me, the human does almost all the work. When i initially bought, i contacted the seller to tell them it was pretty hard to lift, and asked if it would improve / maybe loosen up? They were very responsive and and said "It should get easier and easier over time. I use one everyday, and if both handles are all the way up, it moves up and down fairly easily.". Well, quite the opposite, if anything, it's gotten harder to lift. I have 2 monitors on it, but both are lightweight LCDs, so can't imagine this is an unexpected load.I then followed up letting them know that it makes a creaking sound and asked the seller about perhaps lubricating something there? They asked me to send video of the issue... I have to admit, i was out of town when asked and by the time i got back, well, i knew i couldn't return it so i havent done that. But i do wish i would have returned it and tried another, from this company or other - just to see if it's the one i've got. I really don't think it should be this hard to lift up. My wife can't do it, and she's no weakling. Disappointing. But i admit, partly my fault for not pursuing more - just didn't have time. Anyway, bottom line: if you do try this out and think it's too hard to lift - send it back. Don't wait because it won't get better.Update - 2/21/17 - I had to increase by 1 star simply because the seller contacted me and offered to immediately replace it. I suggested that we try to diagnose a little first and we're doing that, but you really can't ask for more than that - a company that stands behind their product. I will post again when resolved.Update 6/7/17 - I must say that i'm late with this update, due to some travel, so the company really responded close to when i did my prior update, it just took me awhile. Sorry about that. So the issue appears to be due to the difference in weight between my two monitors. If i remove one of them, the lifting is quite easy (doesn't matter which), but they are quite different (can't recall - 5 lbs diff?) and with both on the platform, it again becomes difficult. As mentioned above, the company had offered me a full replacement, which i declined because i came to feel it wouldn't help. They then offered me a $50 refund to help me purchase something else to perhaps hold one of the monitors. They've really gone above and beyond and i would definitely buy from them again. I'm not sure about raising my rating of this item, because it's still doesn't quite work for my situation. But i changed my subject line to reflect this specifically, and if you're not in that same boat, well, i think this desk would be a good one. Certainly the company stands by their product.

It moves really easy up and down
Ready to go out of the box. It's bigger than I envisioned but then I didnt take the time to measure my dekstop. It moves really easy up and down. I thought i read that the keyboard shelf was adjustable up and down as well. But if it is, I can't figure out how (one star deduct). It does slide back and forth but I wish it was a little higher. I guess I can always put books underneath keyboard or just set it on the top shelf with the monitor. The construction....tabletop is particle board and I can see where there is some loose trim around the front edge of the desk...i see super glue in the future (1 star deduct). This is the first day so.....we shall see how it goes.

Best investment for long days @ the home office!
Shopped a long time to narrow down the right desk. Size is great, doesn't take over the whole desk area, still fits my large wide screen monitor, desk phone, with room left for writing pad. Tray holds ergonomic keyboard and mouse, easily slides out for working while standing or seated. Retracts completely when the day is over. The station is easy to lift or collapse, so alternating between sitting and standing is a breeze - and very stable so no danger to self or equipment. Standing during the day has provided great back relief, and energizing after sitting. Anti fatigue mat is a must! The Butterfly mat is great.

I would highly recommend this over the more expensive units out there
I went out on a limb and decided to purchase this desk over all the others out there despite the fact that, at the time, it only had ONE review! It's more compact size, weight bearing ability and the fact that it came assembled, are what drove my decision to purchase this desk and I have been incredibly impressed with its ease of use and durability. I would highly recommend this over the more expensive units out there.

This desk is amazing. I got the white one but you can ...
This desk is amazing. I got the white one but you can get the black one if it looks better in your room or office. I work in a small office and now four of us have standing desks. Great for your spine. When I first got it and stood all day - when I went to sit down it felt like such an unnatural thing for my body. That sitting was the strange position, not standing because everything inside is being compressed. To get the full benefit you need to have a mat for standing as well. Feels good doing something for your health and wellbeing. Makes for a positive environment.

I noticed that sitting made my pain worse. Besides the usual treatments
I wanted to write a quick review to say how much I am enjoying this sit-stand. When re-habbing a neck injury, I noticed that sitting made my pain worse. Besides the usual treatments, I started researching options for standing a whole lot more than I do at my computer-centric job. This has mostly been fantastic. I'm glad I paid a little extra to have the hydraulic lift. You really want that option as without that help, your monitor could go crashing down. My only foible is the keyboard tray. It is not adjustable in height and there is a small lip on the edge to keep your keyboard from slipping off. Well this lip bugs my wrist when using the mouse. I've needed to add padding to remedy, but overall, I could not be more pleased with my new setup.

The desk is also very sturdy and adjusts easily
I researched most of these adjustable desks. This one had a movable keyboard tray. This feature has been key to my enjoying this desk. The desk is also very sturdy and adjusts easily.

Great purchase
I have been using this in my workplace for close to a month now. I have a heavy double monitor weighing 33 lbs so lifting it up to the standing position was a bit challenging at first. With use it has become easier, and I've learned that centering the monitor unit on the platform als makes it easier. I have chronic lower back pain which has improved with changing my position from standing to sitting and back again throughout the day. The unit came well packaged and required no assembly. I believe this will help me combat the damage caused by too much sitting in my office job and am glad I invested in it. It's well made and sturdy and should last a long time.

practical and easy to use
practical and easy to use. Bottom position is a bit high for me (my monitor already has a leg) but when standing it's perfect. If I buy a new monitor in the future I will see that it doesn't have a high leg of its own.
