Bought more than one and used them occasionally in various vehicles when traveling. After a few times, I noticed the mount would lose grip on a vent and fall down, together with a phone. I chalked it up to variation in car vents. A little later, the mount was (barely) holding on to a vent, but could not hold on to my phone no matter what. Lesson learned: grips on this product are not durable and not made to last.

Very special car gadget! I would recommend this product if you are like some fresh and creative products on Amazon.

I have other holders from Kenu, which are expensive, but dollar for dollar, this Fygou holder is best. You don't have to wrestle with some spring-loaded mechanism, as it retains the proper width and grabs firm when you place phone back into place.

I have had this mount for three months now and use it almost daily. I have not had any issues and it has worked great with both phones I have used in it (Moto X 2nd gen with case and Samsung Galaxy S7 with case).

I got this for my note 9, and I had to use it without the case. If your the type that loves your case. It either has to be a real thin one or no case at all. Also also, the inky way to put it on and take it off is with a small button in the back.

Very firm grip - you don't have to worry about it falling. Only bad thing is that in winter, the heat is too extreme on the phone.

So far so good. I had these for about 6 months and never had the phone drop-off while driving. Stylish and slick looking.
