The setup was very smooth as the instructions came along with the camera inside the packet. It paired very well with the Tapo Care app and my home wifi. The mounting is quite easy to do but I simply kept it above a high book shelf. Picture quality can be chosen in 3 modes and I kept it the lowest 720p and its quite sharp and crisp. I will have to watch how the battery performs and will write review after few months here again.

No one can beat this camera. Marvelous and fantastic.

Battery : Promissed 300 hours, One of the camera battery reduced to 80% from 100% in one single day.Wifi Coverage : Very poor. It works only if the routes is within 3 meters. External Antenna could have helped.App: Lot of bugs, but easy to use and setup.Clarity : Good only at 2K, 720p is poor.Night Vision: Pathetic, it works only with Spotlight turned on. It stops working when you return back to the image. Reinitiate the Ngiht visionDetection : Good, Quick to identify Person, Pet.Audio : Average

The Camera has self detection of pets and humans separately. It has a alarm function to scare animals. No external power required. The Video quality is superb.

I would like to share my product experience. If there is any bright sunlight, the outside image quality shows a white glare on the image. I am using the camera's default settings, so the battery life lasts for approximately two months.
