I purchased this in May. I installed one ( lit the path for my little dog) but left the others (2) baking in the North Carolina sun. Well on Wednesday (Aug 7th) we were under a state of emergency (heavy rain, wind, tornado and flooding). At 12:51n I got text from my son letting me know the power went out. @12:52, I got a text from the electric company letting me know they were aware of the power outage. You can't use candles because it's summer. No worries! I stepped outside ( in the heavy down pour) grab the 2 and my house lit up like Friday Night lights! I was showing off so I opened the front door! Guess what, my neighbor text to ask if my electricity is on! That said, the one I installed, I used a strong double side tape for my siding. The product is that light. It's WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Great portable easy install light. Works for price point, motion sensor is working. Seems well made, but little on the small side. Works well, easy to install. Would recommend, just little small.

I purchased these lights through Amazon and two of them stopped working. I sent an email to the company and they sent me three lights for free. I didn't even have to return the broken ones! This is a company that I would recommend for good quality lights. I like the way the lights give you the ability to keep them on all night at 30% or turn on full brightness through motion. If you're looking for a small solar light that has motion sensor or the ability to stay on all night, then purchase these lights which are very affordable and have great customer service! Wish the back of the mounting bracket was filled in. Would not attach to motor home with screws. Used double back tape. Had to use the strongest I could find, 3M VHB, 27 lbs per sqft.

At the price, you can't probably expect much more durability and manufacturing quality, and these lights seem to function as advertised. The solar panels are quite small and very lightly made, as are the light panels. The power cord is long enough to allow the panel to be about 3 feet from the light, and the coverage of the motion sensor seems okay. However, since the dusk-to-dawn sensor is located in the solar panel, be sure to install the panel where no other light source will shine on it during night-time hours. I'd strongly suggest installing these in sheltered areas where they won't be subjected to heavy rainfall, hail, sleet or ice.

I had low expectations for the motion detection capabilities with the "white globe" sensor, but this light actually does a pretty good job. The light was able to quickly pick up animals in my yard as small as my turkeys which is a pretty big deal for this sensor type. The light output is bright and crisp daylight spectrum light, doing an excellent job providing visibility. The remote mounted solar panel allowed me to mount this lamp behind my workshop on the north wall, an area that doesn't receive much direct sunlight because I was able to mount the solar panel on the eastern wall where direct sun hits all day. The charge lasts quite a while, I've seen the lamp power on after 2am when the sun went down at 7pm - impressive for any solar lamp. Build quality is good and solid, the unit is fairly heavy (for what it is). Mounting is simple using the included hardware.

Like many homes, our front door has a small covered entryway to provide some cover in case of bad weather. The ceiling of the entryway has a powered light to illuminate the door at night. The problem is that we usually don't have the light tuned on, and are stuck fumbling around when arriving home after dark.This solar light resolved that issue completely. We have the light mounted about a foot above the front door, but still under the covered area. The 16 foot cord between the light and solar panel runs from the light above the door, along the wall, to the outside of the entryway where the solar panel is attached to the entryway roof. We couldn't use a typical solar light in this location because the area above the door (where the light is mounted) doesn't get direct sunlight. The split design of this light/solar panel works perfectly for this setup.Installation is a simple matter of mounting the light and solar panel using two screws for each. Screws and anchors are provided. The light has several modes, but we strictly use motion detection mode. After dark, the light will remain off until motion is detected. With the light mounted in a location which is partially hidden from view, the motion detection does not activate until I get within maybe 15 feet of the entryway. Once activated, the light gives off more than enough light to illuminate the entire doorway area. The light remains lit as I approach the door, get out my keys, unlock the door, and move inside. Once motion stops, the light stays on for another 20(ish) seconds before shutting off.Long story short, the light works perfectly.

we love this solar powered light. its motion detection works great so any lil motion makes it come on. its nice and bright too. has a remote n different settings to choose from. was very easy to install/set up straight out of the box. very impressed with this purchase would buy again and definitely recommend
