My Dogs Love This Product!!!
This is my third time purchasing Joint MAX triple strength soft chews. My dogs can't get enough of it. I initially purchased Joint MAX triple strength soft chews to facilitate my Border Collie's recovery from hip surgery in October. I only recently began giving it to my other two dogs. It is probably a little early to judge its effectiveness. I do, however know that my dogs absolutely LOVE the taste. Below I give some background information on my dogs for anyone interested. Later I will add to this review regarding my opinion on its effectiveness. We have 3 dogs with hip issues. Two hybrids with minor issues and one Border Collie named Ceasar. Ceasar showed up one day about 5 1/2 years ago. Our Veterinarian said he looked about 3 years old at that time and weighed only 23lbs. He is a free spirit who loves to chase cars, so we had a tough time keeping him in the back yard. We ended up running a electric wire around the top of the fence. He only attempted to get out one more time after that. He favored one leg when he came to us and acquired a few more injuries over the next 2 years. My husband took him along once when he dropped one of our horses off at the Veterinarian's Office. After seeing Ceasar run around our veterinarian, who is a friend of ours, told Michael that he ran like a rabbit and asked when Ceasar was going to have surgery. Ceasar had 2 major surgeries in 2011. One in September and the other in October. The surgery is called FHO (False Hip Operation). This surgery involves the removal of the head (and sometimes the neck) of the affected femur. Then the muscles somehow form what the vet calls "a false hip joint". Before the surgery out veterinarian told us due to Ceasar's age and the degree of joint degeneration and muscle atrophy he couldn't make any promises about how successful the operation would be and that there was the possibility that he could cut a nerve in his hip which could cause him to drag that leg for the rest of his life. We had 2 options: 1. Have the surgery and greatly increase the quality of the remainder of his life; or 2. Don't have the surgery and watch the pain suck the life out of our wonderful, loving dog. After the second surgery our veterinarian told us that he didn't think he cut any nerves, and that it was the toughest surgery he had ever performed. Ceasar was in great pain for about three days after each surgery. But then he would get really bored and want to be busy again, but only for a little while. We began giving him Joint Max Triple strength after the second operation.I am very happy to say that Ceasar has made almost a complete recovery and is doing great!!!

Better than cosequin better than cosequin in my dogs
This stuff works better for my dogs than the leading competitor cosequin. My dogs did ok on the cosequin, but as soon as I switched to joint max… within 3 days she was like a whole new dog. Joint max worked better for my dogs, and now I give it to them daily.

This stuff really works
My dog Duke is going on 12 years old. He's a mixed breed and weighs (lean) about 75 pounds. I take him for a walk with a few 100 yard runs mixed in every night. This past year he has slowed down so I did some research and decided to try JointMAX. I fed him 1 per day and he almost immediately responded with easier running. I recently noticed that the directions say 2 per day. This has given him noticeably more dexterity. He loves to eat these and picks them out of his food before consuming the remainder. I highly recommend this supplement.

just one issue
I have a large rottie, she is still very young but this breed is infamous for there hip and joint issues. I have had her on this type of supplement from the get go. i was using joint armor advanced. They have the good stuff, and she gobbles them down like candy. But it is pricey and they come in a small package and go fast. They also have lower potency per each, and are missing many of the supporting factors found in this product. I researched other products, and saw that this one, by ingredients , potency, and and doses is an amazing value if you order the large jug. It has all of the things you want including the hyaluronic acid and supporting nutrients that many other do not, and in substantial potency. The drawback, my dog who will eat just about anything turns her nose up at them. even if i put it right in her mouth she will spit it out. so, this is more like like a vitamin, or a med, then a treat in our case. I have to put in in the back of her mouth and hold it shut until she starts to chew. I am sure i could also crunch them up into her food or somthing like that as well. I bought them for the effect, and the value and i am on a budget, so i probably will purchase them again. However they might not be right for everyone if you are looking to drop it on the floor and walk away. Other dogs may love them even, mine does not! but that is to be expected really, they are loaded with just about every ingridient that is known to possibly help, not flavors and fillers. this is my opinion of this product after the first bucket.

It works
Even though I could not get my healers to eat it, the first week she did and she stopped limping.. just wish it was a powder... easier to disguise!!!

Not for my pooch 🤷♂️
I'm giving 3 stars because I tried them for a few months and my dog didn't show any signs of feeling better until I switched to a different brand. However, that doesn't mean these might not work for your pooch? Also, they smell something awful.

These work Great
I have tried the soft chews and the pill form . My 100lb baby likes the pill form better. If she drops one she will pick it up off the floor and eat it. My Dog moves much better since we started her on these. She seems much happier. I believe they have helped her Greatly. She is a 13 year old mixed breed.

Made the dog sick
Made my dog terribly sick. When I realized what had happened, paid closer attention to the smell. Terrible! Can't return it and that's ok. In the trash, my senior dog will not be given these.
