Some lines and markings are commonly present in terms of the surface finish, as are some more roughly finished areas, especially where hand polishing may be particularly challenging due to the shape or angles of a given item. These characteristics are to be expected and should not be seen as flaws/defects, but rather as what contributes to making each hand crafted piece uniquely interesting and beautifully rustic. HOW TO CARE FOR POLISHED ALUMINUM METAL For day-to-day cleaning, wipe with a damp soft cloth and immediately towel dry To periodically clean more thoroughly, wash in warm water using a mild dish soap and a soft cloth. Rinse and towel dry immediately afterwards Do not allow polished aluminum items to rest in liquids for long periods of time, as this can leave permanent marks or cause oxidization (discolouration) Do not use any scrubbing pads or the like that could scratch the polished aluminium Avoid using chemical cleaning products unless they specifically state they are safe to use on polished aluminum
