Q: Is the lid a twist top?

No twisting - it just pulls off and pushes on. It's a good tight fit, just be careful if it's holding hot coffee to not jostle it around too much while putting the lid on and off.

Q: Does this include the lid and how many ounces is it?

It’s 24 oz and the lid is included

Q: Does the opening in the lid have a cover you can close? Can I throw the tumbler (filled) in a bag & not worry about any spills?

The cover does have a piece that slides to cover the hole in the lid. I just filled mine and turned it upside down to see if it would spill out. I only had a few drips but personally I wouldn't trust it in a bag without making some sort of mess.
