It does come with numbers even though the pictures don't show it. The holes are kinda small so be careful if you're using a particularly thick string. It isn't quite 50 per bead (~42-45) and the amount of beads per number is very unbalanced.

These beads are a great value but I will say that I did not get a single 8 number bead.

This box would be over $25 at the local craft store! The beads are the same quality. I prefer buying them as I need them in these smaller amounts/containers. It's a basic kit to replenish when you're running low on letters. The box is small and compact, too, so it can easily fit into a bag for crafts on the go.
