I needed a good bucket to pick up our doggo's poo. Bucket is sturdy. Lid sits fine but a gust of wind might dislodge it - hasn't happened yet but a rock or brick will should be enough to keep the lid on.

I bought these for outside. I am a smoker and needed something to put my butts in. They will work for that. They did come dented and that is why I took off a star.

I was looking for a metal trashcan to fit in the under-sink kitchen cabinet. I needed a lid for odors, and because we have naughty cats. This pail with lid fits a standard 5-gallon trash bag. The lid gets caught up on the handle bracket, but that's easily fixed with a pair of pliers. This pail works perfectly for what I needed.

I probably should have guessed, based on the price, that these would not be the most robust galvanized buckets on the market. The metal is a thin gauge and the buckets tend to warp a little more easily, which can cause the lid to not sit flush. However, the were serviceable for my project (in-ground compost buckets). I wish the mfr would do away with the plastic on the bail and the lid.

This pack of three metal cans with lids is a great value. I thought they would be paper-thin, but was pleasantly surprised by their construction. Used one for fireplace ash removal and is much better than the "what's available" approach. Not sure what I'll do with the other two, but at that price, it's a nice problem to have. I would definitely buy these again.

I keep one by each litter box. With the lid on, there is no odor from the old litter. And the can is small enough that I can’t fill it beyond my capacity for carrying the full bag to the outside trash bin.

The quality of the material is poor. 3 of them arrived with dents. I returned them.

I use the pails to keep critter food stored near the feeders on my property but the tops need to be reinforced to keep the raccoons out. Also, the rain can get in if the tops are in any way bent. They are flat at the ends of the pail and would work better if they were fitted to drop over the top of the pail like a standard garbage can cover. They had only a couple of dents when received but nothing catastrophic. I can make them work but I shouldn't have to.
