NAOT Women's Paris Above The Knee Sandal

NAOT shoes are a bit of a hit-and-miss for me. I have bunions on my right foot so my right foot is a bit wider than the left.In some NAOT sandals, I feel no difference in either feet. In others, my right foot will feel the edge of the footbeds (for those sandals with removable footbed), so I feel some discomfort.This pair belongs to the latter. With the 2 sides of my right foot rubbing on the edges, it is not that comfortable for walking.I have a pair of customised orthotics. When I removed the footbed and put mine in, the toe straps were way too tight for me. As the straps are not adjustable, I have no choice but to abandon the use of my own customised orthotics.

I love Naot sandals and the Paris style is a favorite of mine. I have chronic plantar fasciitis in both feet. I usually need to wear orthotics in my shoes and still often have pain. With this brand and style I don’t need orthotics and can walk all day pain free.Unfortunately, this style is getting hard to find. I’m afraid they may have discontinued this style. If you find it in your size, grab it while you can.

AMAIZING Shoes! I have been wearing these same model of sandals for 10 years now, and finally felt corageous enoug to purchase them on the internet to save some money, and they are wonderful!! I hope they never stop making these shoes because they are the only sandals I can wear comfortably all day, walk several miles in and look great with a dress. A tiny bit of "fashion" is sacrified for heavenly comfort, but for the sliight bulkiness of the shoe it is well worth it! Worth every penny! AND you can replace the incerts, and the sandals feel good as new so they last a good 1-3 years depending on how much you walk.

I don't quite understand the Naot sizing. Sometimes a European 43 says Women's 11-12 and sometimes it just says 12. I am disappointed that all the Naots seem to run shorter and more narrow. I can wear an 11 in keen sandals, but these "12" Naots are too short and too narrow. The style used in the Paris Wedge has a black rim all around the top edge which seems to make it a little bit wider, but it's uncomfortable to stand on due to the stitching holding it down. However, if you have a narrow foot, this is one of the more attractive Naot wedges. My foot, which is usually called Medium width, pushes very hard against the outside strap, and it cuts into my little toe since this particular strap is very narrow.

This is my third pair of this brand and my second pair of this exact Paris shoe. I bought them for my orthotics and they are the most comfortable shoes. My first pair is probably four to five years old and they’re the pair that I wear most often, they’ve been worn around the world, twice, and have been beat to death. The first pair I had are the burnt copper colored ones and the distressing looks hide a lot of the wear and tear on them. I have been very impressed with how well they’ve held up. I still have my original pair of the Paris and bought these in the metal color. I read other posts that said that the metal were a black and silver color. This was not the case. Although they did have a metallic sheen to them, they were more of a black brown, leaning more towards a dark brown. I was a little disappointed that they weren’t black/silver because I already had the burnt copper pair, but I do like them anyway. Hopefully, they’ll get more colors in stock in my size. It’s really a bummer when there’s 13 colors and only two colors in your size, especially when you’re an average size.

I was hesitant to buy shoes on-line as fit and comfort are so important. I choose NAOT because a friend from England said she had purchased a pair and they were great for walking. I also noticed that NAOT had free shipping on returns which minimized the risk I felt I was taking. My English friend said she ordered a size 38 which is an American 7 and that's what I ordered since I'm a size 7. I am happy to report that the size 7 fit perfectly. The shoe is very comfortable and appears to be well-made. I began wearing them the day after I got them and haven't experienced any discomfort or problems.

These sandals are comfortable from the moment you put them on, and the sale price put them within my budget. The design of the lip on the foot bed does give the appearance the shoe is larger than need be, but my foot fits the lined portion of the shoe with perhaps 1/4 inch to spare, It is my opinion had I gotten the size 8, my toes would rest on the stitched lip and been uncomfortable. I love Naot shoes, they are quality, I wish they weren't quite so expensive, my closet would be full of Naot shoes.

I ordered these because they have the same footbed as my favorite Naots from 6 years ago that have practically worn out! I have a very high arch and am on month 9 of healing plantar fasciitis in one foot. These are great for both of those issues because the heel has a lot of give to it, and the footbed conforms to support your foot. I adore Naots as a rule because they look kind of edgy/cute and not at all like orthopedic sandals! I have a feeling these will be my go-to sandals for summer.

These shoes are exactly what I expected. They are very comfortable. I'm looking forward to wearing them in the summer.

They are realy not Nice, too big and Don't fit very well, very desapointed
