The green color is bright, but not obnoxious. It is festive and fun.I have another one of these in all black. We take it camping and use it as a stand for our 7 gallon water container. It does surprisingly well on uneven surfaces and handles all that water weight with no problems.The only issue I have with this style of collapsible seating is that dust and dirt will accumulate on the pedestal section and make it more difficult to open and close. A quick rinse with some water can rinse off the dust and make it easier to operate. But, we do a lot of camping in the desert and I hate having to waste a little water to get it functional again.Despite this disadvantage, I still like this stool design. I currently use this one around the house as a spare stand for plants or seating. It's just so compact I could throw it in a drawer or cabinet between uses. There's also a handle you could use to hang it on a hook in a closet.

I had this product for 24 days. It says it is rated for well over twice my weight, but it seems this only applies to downward forces. If the ground is even slightly uneven, it buckles and falls apart. I sat on it on some sandy ground to apply sunscreen and it broke.The product descriptions says> hiking, fishing, traveling, camping, barbecue, outdoor concerts, or queuing,And the pictures also show people carrying it for hiking.But it cannot be used unless the ground is perfectly smooth concrete and you must sit perfectly still and not lean (for example to apply sunscreen) or it will break.

Bought 2 to keep in the racks at the DC. Highly recommended! Lightweight, portable and sturdy!

I would advise larger capacity for heavier person but I loved it

Broke during 3rd use. Weight limit claims not accurate by about 100lbs. Straight to the dumpster.Update: reading other reviews from this and other brands. Weight limit may be accurate while sitting...but don't lean, even slightly! The stools will hold as long as the weight is evenly distributed directly down but if you lean the least little bit, you'll get structural collapse.
