I bought these to lower the seat of my Charles Bentley Garden 3 Seater Outdoor Swing Seat, whose front bar was cutting into my thighs (I'm only 6ft tall). This required carabiners rated at 150kg, so these were perfect.The seat height is now right, and I am confident that these snap hooks won't snap and lower us to the ground!

Excellent karabiners these, not for climbing or being stupid, just as the intended purpose, and similar. I use then for keeping the car and house keys together but I remove the rope liner collar that is set in the bottom, to increase versatility, but they can be clipped onto the D rings of your haversack for carrying water bottles etc... D

I wanted to connect a hook to the long rope I use to pull braches off trees. It works well a is well made so it makes this a one-handed job and much easier.

Good solid piece of kit. OK, you can get cheaper Snap Hooks but read the title of this review.

They did the job I wanted them for.
