Bought these gloves to use with a Kamado Joe, and I'm now using them for the grill and in the kitchen; so is my wife. These gloves fit my hands well; average size hands, average guy. And I'm glad I got the slightly longer sleeve which covers the wrist fully and a bit of the arm, especially when reaching over a hot grill or into a hot kitchen oven. The gloves are heat resistant, giving me about ten seconds handling very hot items before I begin feeling the heat. Some reviewers are disappointed with the thermal barrier they provide, but these are "heat resistant" and not "heat proof." (They are not welder's gloves.) And like most cloth and silicone gloves, you do not want to use them when wet---cause the heat will come right through the moisture.The grips built into the surface of the fingers is really a welcome feature; on the grill or in the kitchen they make the grip on grilling tools and oven pans (and countless other items) very secure. The gloves are also flexible, so they don't interfere with the motion of your fingers or your grip.No more stiff, clumsy grilling gloves; no more oven mitts. Very happy with these gloves and recommend them, indoors and outdoors.

These are high quality wonderful gloves and they keep my skin burn free, a great buy!

I got these based on a recommendation from the YouTube channel Smoking Dad Bbq and I’m pretty pleased with them. It made me nervous to reach in the fire and grab scorching hot things but these kept my hands comfortable and safe and that’s all I can ask for. Just don’t get them wet and try to use them, the steam will burn you.

I bought these after I purchased an air fryer and burned myself removing the baking pan. I'm very happy with these gloves, they're perfect for grabbing hot pans.

Think i saw these on the Smoking Dad BBQ channel. They work very well. Just a little caution that you can't just pickup and hold a really hot item without the heat coming through eventually! Be careful! They do work very well to move things around quickly.

Husband loves them and bought another pair for one of our Sons.

LOVE THESE GLOVES! Easily removed two glass loaf pans and a cast iron pot from a 450 degree oven and felt absolutely no heat. I have small hands and was concerned that the gloves would be too big, but that was not the case at all. The gloves comfortably hugged my fingers allowing me to safely grip the hot items. Gloves also fit my husband’s hands with no problem. Bakers - these gloves are a ‘must-have’!

Long story short, I feel the heat when handling a hot heat deflector during or right after a low and slow cook.Like some people mentioned, I got these gloves because of Smoking Dad BBQ. Perhaps I had higher/unrealistic expectations on these, these gloves are generally better than your oven mitt, but I can not hold my hot ceramic heat deflector for about 5 seconds, which is just enough time for me to carefully set them down without dropping them because of the heat.Like always, exercise caution when dealing with heat.

I love these beautiful, sleek and heat resistant gloves. I use it to take all hot trays from oven, baking sheets, hot hot cooking pots and much more. No complaints. Price as great and would recommend it to everyone. It is not very very thick but my hands did not burn at all.

Just what I needed, better than oven mitts , non slip and if used with a oven cloth you can hold hot oven trays longer but for use of just removing trays and placing them down straight away they are a must. Love the fact that they have fingers which make holding items easier.

No protection for side of thumb when gripping things. Otherwise a good pair of gloves

There was 13 amazon.com reviews that were all positive with 5 stars except for one, and the one review in question also gave this product a favourable review with 4 stars.I’m pleased to announce that the H01361 Heat Resistant Gloves with a Double Layers of Silicone Coating and Extended Long Cuffs is a quality well made product and deserving of the 5 star reviews it has received. They arrived beautifully packaged with cardboard inserts inside the cuffs. I have a normal size adult male hand and the H01361 Heat Resistant Gloves fit perfectly and are not tight around the fingers or the cuffs. The overall length is exactly 13 inches and are slightly heavier than oven mitts due to the excellent double layer construction.They do not feel overly thick or overly large or cumbersome when on and the cuffs go approximately half way up my forearm. The inside cotton liner is very soft and the gloves feel very comfortable when on. The slightly larger size does not hamper the flexibility of your fingers or wrists and are far better than any oven mitt that I have previously owned or ever used. You will have zero problems using this product to remove any items from your oven or grasping a hot item or when using them when barbecuing and holding onto a spatula or tongs.I tested the gloves by heating the oven to 425F for one hour and then removed the two oven racks. I held each of the oven racks for 15 seconds ( about 3 times longer than I normally would ) and I felt no heat transfer into either of the gloves. My only complaint with these gloves is the cosmetics. To me they look like they are part of a “Spiderman” costume. A solid charcoal or titanium or any dark colour would be my normal preference. I found over the years that darker colours are more advantageous in regards to revealing any stains even though it states on the packaging that these gloves are machine washable in cold water. Remember these are heat resistant not heat proof. Never use any oven gloves or mitts around steam and never use them if they are damp or wet inside.I am very pleased with the H01361 Heat Resistant Gloves and I recommend this product. These are a good fit for someone with larger than normal hands. Heat resistance is good and they are easy to keep clean too. There is minimal loss of dexterity; you are still able to turn skewers on the BBQ for example. Protection goes above the wrists too making this great for reaching over coals or placing your hand inside an oven.
