Bob Miller's Tales from the Los Angeles Kings

Must read for all LA Kings fans. I read this book before I got to know Bob and now that I know him, I love the book even more. Mr. Miller will always be one of the best hockey announcers of all time. I'm glad I got to know him well enough to know that he's also one of the nicest people in the hockey world. Bob could write hundreds of books with all the great stories he has and I hope to see more from him in the future!

This is a book that every Kings fan should own and any hockey fan should read. Bob tells many stories about former owners, general managers and players- mostly funny stories. He outlines some of the bonehead trades in the past. He goes in depth into the Gretsky years and the Kings first Stanley Cup finals. This is a very funny and entertaining read. I highly recommend it.

Great book for Kings fans.

With all of the pain and suffering of LA Kings fans, I thought at least there would be some insight as to why the Kings always stink. Maybe a bunch of funny stories. You have to read it, but it is a big disappointment because it just is too plain.

My husband has been following this team forever, I purchased this for him as a Christmas gift. We were talking about Bob Miller one night and he mentioned this book. He has enjoyed it. It wasn't noticed until he opened the gift that it was actually signed by Bob. It was awesome. Guess he lucked out to get a book that was signed by him. I do not believe it was in the description.
