This is just what I needed to start the day. Regular old coffee gave me the jitters and decaf coffee was boring. My friend told me to try Peak Performance Organic Mushroom Coffee and I’m glad I did. The flavor is good but somewhat strong, almost a chickory taste. It lifts up your spirits and alertness; it just gives you a good feeling. I would recommend it if you need to find an alternative to caffeinated coffee and don’t want jitters and a caffeine crash. It is expensive but I only need one cup to get me going. Easy K Cup method of having a cup of coffee in the morning. Taste great. Good strength at 12 oz water level in the Keurig Machine and at the best temperature. Also, I have been drinking Peak Performance Company’s K-Cup coffee for two years, and it’s an absolute delight! The medium roast offers a smooth, rich flavor with no bitterness, making every sip a treat. I love that it’s organic, fair trade, and sourced from high-altitude Guatemalan beans—knowing it’s pesticide-free and packed with antioxidants adds to the enjoyment. It’s low-acid too, so it’s gentle on my stomach, which is a huge plus. The fact that it works perfectly in my Keurig just seals the deal. It has a smooth rich coffee flavor. I was afraid that the mushrooms might overpower the coffee, but they don't.

I drink coffee black, and am very impressed by these! I have a Ninja coffee maker with K-cup or pot options, and the compatibility is perfect. Brew strength is comparable to other brands I’ve tried (some of which were weak disappointments). This is good strength, tastes good (again, black, so I’m getting the pure flavor), and makes me feel better than regular coffee. I have GERD and this is definitely low-acid because it doesn’t worsen my heartburn. I greatly appreciate the quality ingredients and testing. It gets my bowels moving just like regular coffee does. The only 2 cons are that I get slightly nauseous after my 2nd cup, though I do intermittent fasting so I’ll have an empty stomach for about 4 hours. Also, while I don’t get the jitters from this, I don’t feel like I’m getting the same energy boost as I do from regular coffee. However, I’m trying to wean off of caffeine so this is ideal, and next I’ll try the caffeine-free blend!
