Why does the label say it contains milk? What part of milk does it contain (proteins or sugars)?

Casein hydrolysate from milk is used as a processing aid in a very small amount. Due to the trace amounts, we do not have to include casein as an ingredient, however we include milk in the allergen list to abide by FDA Allergen Rules and to make sure that our customers who want absolutely zero traces of milk proteins have visibility of this. We are happy to report that effective November 1st our product will NOT contain Casein hydrolysate from milk and the labelling will be changed to reflect this.

Is this made from organic grapes?

I’m wondering how many mg of actual resveratrol this is equivalent to because I take resveratrol now and don’t want too much

Each 400 mg Red Grape Powder capsule contains 6 mg of Piceid Resveratrol. Please note that VINIA is the only product in North America that contains Piceid Resveratrol from the skin of the red grape compared to other Regular Resveratrol products which are all sourced from Japanese Knotweed or Polygonum. Piceid Resveratrol is superior to all other forms of resveratrol as it contains the glucoside molecule which greatly enhances VINIA’s solubility. Regular Resveratrol does NOT contain this unique glucoside molecule. VINIA’s 6mg of Piceid Resveratrol has much greater effectiveness versus much greater servings of Regular Resveratrol. It is well known in scientific literature that Piceid Resveratrol is 25X more soluble in water than regular resveratrol. VINIA has 82% solubility which means that 4.9 out of 6mg in each VINIA capsule is soluble. Our internal testing of regular resveratrol has shown that less than 1mg is soluble even from a large serving of 500mg. VINIA also has superior bioavailability and enters the bloodstream in 20 minutes and lasts for 12 hours and has 2 peaks versus just 1 for Regular Resveratrol which lasts in the body for only 1-2 hours. As a result of this superior solubility and bio-availability from our 6mg of Piceid Resveratrol, VINIA demonstrated in clinical trials, after taking one capsule for 90 days, the ability to increase the dilation of arteries by at least 70% versus baseline. All VINIA clinical trials including invitro, invivo and humans clinical studies were conducted by third party institutions and have been published in independent peer reviewed scientific journals.
