The Recipe

A nice little read.

This was a quick read with a littke spice to it. I kind of wish this had been a longer read. The author left a lot of openings however.Not a bad quick read with a little spicy to it.

First time reading this author. I thought that the theme of an herbalist who lives in a boat was new and refreshing. There seemed to be some missing words in some of the sentences, which made things unclear at times. There was significant jumping around and jumping forward without a base or foundation for certain parts.

When your husband disappoints what does one do? Well, if you are Lily you make some less than questionable decisions. For example, bedding someone you have known for just a few hours...I mean if this were the 80's then Lily would be rolling with the times. Lol. As, most of us know, once our rose color glasses are off we just go wild and have fun. But, a curse? Has Lily gone to far? The world requires balance, so what does the world have waiting for Lily? Pick up this cute short story of self exploration and fulfillment. Thank you Voracious Readers Only and author for my free copy of this lovely story.

I have to laugh at myself because this book was not what I was expecting at all!Although it was a nice love story, it was much more spicy than the books I would usually choose to read. That said, I do like a happy ever after, which is what this book gave. Recommended if you like a spicy love story.
