Easy to assemble, look great, birds love it
I got these today and my 10 year old son and I each assembled one using the provided paper instructions. They were quick and easy to assemble, and dummy-proof because while the pieces felt like they were going in upside down, it wouldn't even let us put them in the wrong way. We filled them up and hung them outside, expecting the birds to take a few days to use them, but it took just about 10 minutes.I don't recommend sticking with smaller seeds. I have no waste fruit and nut big chunky seed that seems like it is going to get stuck. The birds seem to be able to pull enough out still, so maybe that helps keep it from flowing out too quickly, but I will try smaller seed variety next.Mostly saw finches on them today, but a few larger birds seemed to use it just fine, including Red-winged Blackbird, Starling, and Black-Headed Grosbeak. The lid twist-locks in place so it can't be lifted off, but is an easy twist to loosen. The hanging wire is pretty long and not adjustable. These will be easy to clean since the opening is so wide.

Wonderful quality, easy set up, nicely packaged ackages
When I opened my Amazon box and saw the box oackaging, I was pleasantly surprised as it is aesthetic and gifting quality. Upon opening the gift box, I was a little wary when I saw that you have to put these together. However, yet again, I was pleasantly surprised with the ease and quality color photo instructions. They even have a QR code if you want to watch a video installation guide. It literally only took about 5 minutes to put these together. Easy no-tool snap together construction. These are nicer quality plastic bird feeders than I have purchased (for a lot more!) at lawn and garden stores. Highly recommend for yourself or as a gift. And, because you put them together, you know how to take them apart for cleaning.

How they work in rainy weather
The feeders are assembled and appear sturdy. The inside has nooks and crannies which will not be easy to clean. I like their appearance.

BEAUTIFUL & STURDY
Bought 2 - they look gorgeous. Easy to assemble. Surprisingly sturdy design even though they're resin/plastic. Birds seem very happy with them. Only drawback is that the wire, though string, it is limp, so not as easy to hang. In past, I've bought metal feeders. So I will update after a while to see if they hold up.

Easiest to clean feeder
Needed to replace a couple of feeders that had worn out and these were well priced. When they arrived I had to put them together which was unusual, but made cleaning them so much easier. Top and bottom come off and the plastic windows slide out. This is also a very water resistant feeder by design. The food stays in the center of the feeder and the bird perches are slightly raised with drainage. Once assembled it is very sturdy, but the little top knob doesn’t sit very well. Has a very strong hanging loop. Would love to buy more if more colors were offered.

These Aren't Too Small
Some of the other reviews say that the perches are too small. I'm not really sure why they'd say that because the perches are the perfect size for smaller birds up to the size of cardinals. Even Bluejays manage to sit on the perch if you have the seeds - or corn - that they like (see photos). As you can see by my photos, the two Titmouse birds have plenty of room to sit and enjoy their treats. The feeding bays are nice and open and allow plenty of seeds, corn and sunflower seeds to be accessible by the birds.Birds were on the feeder the very next day and haven't stopped feeding on both of the feeders since I've put them out. I live in Central Florida, so I'll see just how durable these feeders are after the first or second summer. Until then.... they are working perfectly and the birds all seem to like them.

Works but is messy and wasteful...
As everyone says these feeders are easy to assemble and fill. I find the quality reasonable for the price. The only thing I don't like is that the finches knock a lot of seed out into the ground to get at the seed they want. I completely filled two of these and in only a couple days they were empty and the ground was covered in seed. At this rate I'd go through a 40 bag in less than a month. If you don't mind a lot of wasted seed on the ground these might be for you. In my case I think I'll look for a less messy feeder.

Not sold on this yet
Number one, I do love the design and people were right, it was pretty easy to assemble. However, it was quite flimsy, in my opinion. I used a half/half ratio of seed to meal worm mix assuming it would be steady enough (I only assembled one to start.) However, even when I was placing it on the Shepards Hook, the top somehow 'unlocked' itself and while not much seed fell as I caught it right away, it wasn't pleased. Later,I saw it just swaying in the wind when a few birds have tried to land on it. They haven't touched it in days. I'm afraid I'll need to try a seed only mix and hopefully it will be heavy enough for the little guys out there. Otherwise, they'll be going to goodwill.
