We eat canned beans of different types for dinner. On air fry chicken thigh night, if I pre-seasoned with a mexican style rub, then it is tex-mex beans for side dish. Along with maybe steamed zucchini. I put a can of good quality pinto beans in a stovetop metal pan with lid, add 1 can of these chili fixin's and stir in. Put the heat on low and bring the bean mix to a low heat level while chicken is cooking. Mixed with the pinto beans give that side dish a wonderful deep tex-mex flavor and is good for the bod due to fiber. Excellent product as with this companies other canned diced tomato flavors.

Ro-Tel Chili Fixins takes the work out of making a Big Pot of Red. The basic seasonings for chili are in the can. I generally stir in a couple of seeded jalapeno peppers and add extra chili powder to taste but this is just me. There is no way to foul up a good bowl of chili if you follow the instructions and use one can of Chili Fixins per pound of coarse ground beef. I always make a big batch and freeze the left overs. I use two pounds of course ground beef, one pound of ground turkey and one pound of cubed beef roast or stew meat with four cans of Chili Fixins. I also add a coursely chopped onion that I sautee with the meat. Just follow the directions on the can. I ordered this product through Amazon because none of the local stores carry it. The chili recipe on the can works just fine without adding extra stuff. I just like to personalize the chili a little. Of course, I tell everyone I make my chili from scratch and I did until I discovered Chili Fixins almost 10 years ago.

I love Rotel products especially the original and hot varieties. The chili fixins are OK however the 'bite' is too mild when using to build a pot of chili. The Rotel hot is still the way to go (IMHO). Not bad stuff but the original and hot are my preferred flavors.

I discovered this and like it way better than the original, but nothing wrong with that either. It depends on what dish and for who as a lot of people don't enjoy the spicier like I do. I've used it for tacos and chili so far, both were perfect.

We have absolutely loved the RoTel Chili Fixin's. It makes great chili just by following the directions on the can, combining the can of chili fixin's with a can of diced tomatoes and a pound of meat. It is even better when you add your own items; for example, I tend to add diced onions and (at this time of year) Hatch chilis. My one issue is that the cans I receive from Amazon are frequently dented, sometimes badly. In one shipment, that was poorly packaged, I questioned if I would be able to open the cans because of how beat up they were (I did manage to find a way). My most recent shipment, the packaging was fine but at least half the cans still dented. I'd lower my rating by at least 2 stars for the condition of the cans, except it isn't fair to mark down such a good product just because Amazon can't seem to store/ship these cans without damaging.
