Exactly as described, the fan is quiet, especially at lower speed and effective, moving quite a volume of air across an average room to provide a comfortable stream of cooling air.It looks good, too, and has a quality feel too, and was very easy to assemble.

This fan has now been in use in our home for several days during the very warm weather. On unpacking, you have to assemble the base plate but this only takes a couple of minutes following the printed instruction booklet. The fan looks good and works well. It has three speeds and a choice of oscillate or still. It's very quiet on the lowest speed, but still moved the air around our reasonably sized sitting room. We haven't used the timer, but have tried the various modes of operation. They are charmingly entitled baby wind, sleep wind and normal wind. The only issue I have with this item is that it is clearly expected that you will only operate it using the included remote control (no AAA battery supplied), as it is almost impossible to see the manual controls on the black panel on top of the unit. When the unit is in operation there are small white lights but the symbols cannot be seen. For this reason only, we can't give it 5 stars!

I personally think this fan is amazing! It’s quite tall and blows out very cool air even during very hot humid weather, unlike other fans which seem to just circulate warm air. The fan rotates well and covers a large area, has a lot of settings including a baby mode so that it is more silent to prevent waking children up if in their bedroom - this has worked well for me when it has been in my toddlers bedroom. I thought this product when it was on offer and so found it to be amazing value for money in comparison to other fans. It was just what I was looking for and I will be purchasing a second one for the summer time. It is also very easy to put together, even on ‘normal’ settings it is not loud and so doesn’t disturb sleep during night time if in the bedroom. The fan itself looks OK as far as fans go, I purchased the black version and I think it looks more expensive that what it is. Due to being relatively slim, it is easy to store away when not in use. I would 100% recommend for those needing a decent fan on a budget.

This fan is just incredible!It's quiet, powerful and creates cool air instead of pushing warm air around!My eldest child's room is like a sauna in this heat and every summer but with this fan he is nice and cool and sleeping so well.I bought one for each bedroom and I'm so impressed that I've bought one for my living room too. It's size and air flow will insure that my living room will be cool too as it's a massive room.I have been recommending this fan to everyone I know!

Excellent fan. Needed for a living room which is quite long, this worked a treat.Very minimal set up no screws which was very handy. Easy to control with the remote and on actual fan itself. Definitely worth the money and very happy

A very nice fan it's cool with good strong air flow, light to carry when you want to move it around and dead easy to assemble, I had to play with all the functions it offers and there is no problems with them. It is pretty quiet in operation so it suits my purpose.
