ShockRiteElectric Fence Mains Energiser SRM412 1.2 Joule Fencer Unit

I only have a very small garden but the multitude of felines in the area would make it their toilet if they could.I have had many units over the years and noticed that the previous one did not deliver much kick particularly if the odd plant stem grows against the HT wire. This is a good unit and if kitty climbs over my fence they are quickly reminded not to. Not powerful enough to do any damage but is a short sharp shock.

My electric fence is very well constructed but the previous two energisers failed with very worrying consequences, one tripped the complete property electric circuit. So far after 3 months this device is working fine so I feel this combines power with reliability which is vital to protect any vulnerable creatures. It also has a decent warranty that is vital.

Great fence, keeps large horses in a few acres of a large field without issue. Packs a powerful shock and 3 year guarantee is peace of mind. Supplier McGraths were more than helpful when I realised I had incorrect address, answered phone straight away and sorted it out, extremely friendly!

Very easy to install BUT the earth rod supplied is not long enough so had to buy another rod

More powerful than previous system.

Nice telltale blinking light flashes every second or so - and comes with a moulded plug that just fits inside an external power socket with a flap. Time will tell on reliability but it's ticking away nicely right now.

Works as expected.The manual supplied was readable too.It brought back long lost memories finding a user manual that made sense and didn't look like it was produced by a none native four year olds English homework project.Good product, good price, I'm happy!

Product worked for a couple of years of little use then burned out.
