Sometimes traveling can be stressful, and anything can happen. Well, be ahead of the game and know your money is safely guarded with this brown leather money belt. Made from full grain cowhide to assure a long lasting travel accessory, interchangeable buckle to add whatever belt accessories you please, and a 19.5'' YKK zipper pocket that can easily store emergency funds and a copy of your passport. This is one of the travel accessories you don’t want to forget on your trip. **Double check sizing chart!! - Typically one and sometimes two sizes larger than pant size** - Size is based on the circumference of your waist. If your waist measurement (NOT PANT SIZE!!) measures 36 inches then a size 36 is a good fit. Therefor size corresponds to the distance from the end of the buckle prong to the third hole of the belt measured in inches.

Excellent Belt, Excellent Company
I bought this belt about a year and a half ago and have used it as my everyday belt since then. It is attractive, comfortable, appropriate for any setting, and I like the security of being able to stash a few hidden bills in it in case of an emergency while traveling. In short it's been the best belt I've owned. But about a week ago the metal buckle just snapped in half. Needless to say I was very disappointed and I sent an email to the company explaining what happened. I received a reply from Walter the very next day saying that the buckle was defective and they would send me out a new and better one immediately. I received the new buckle within a week, put it on the belt and I'm back to using it again. Now that is exceptional customer service.I give both the belt and the company 5 stars. A great product and a great company that stands behind their product. That's becoming a rare thing in this day and age. I recommend them highly and would not hesitate to buy from them again. Thanks guys.

Fantastic!
This is a great belt. Period. It's doubly great because of the hidden money option. I was able to stash close to a dozen different bills of various sizes in this pocket. Yes, you need to fold the bills over quite a few times to get them to fit. Yes, that means when you take them out, they will be somewhat wrinkled and bent. They spend the same. It only took a brief period of adjustment initially for my body, recognizing that the belt was stiffer because of the folded bills than a normal belt. It wasn't long before I wasn't thinking about that at all.Construction appears to be very good. The leather belt loop is not attached and will slide off, so you have to watch this. No trouble with the buckle or the belt itself. Leather is kind of rough which gives it a well-worn appearance even when new.I've traveled with security pouches in the past and I won't ever use those again to carry cash as long as I have this kind of belt available. It doesn't offer RFID protection but it also isn't big enough to put credit cards in. For those (as well as for passports, etc.) you'll obviously need to still have another travel pouch option.Definitely my best pre-trip purchase, and one I plan to enjoy on future trips!

A nicely made practical belt.
I bought a black and a brown. My waist is 32, so I ordered 34. The belt fits me very well and appear to be well made. I hope my waistline doesn't expand; otherwise I'll be out of luck as I'm using the last hole of the belt.1. The brown one was shipped via Amazon Prime but the black one was shipped direct, costing $1.00 more after adding the freight. They arrived two days apart.2. The brown one has an additional leather loop that I like as it will hold excess belt length in the event the belt loop of the pants is too far away. The leather loop was stapled together, cheap looking and tacky, probably won't last long.3. The black one has NO additional leather loop. I wonder it was overlooked by accident.I wish the seller, Walter3, will send one to me, if it is supposed to have one.4. The money pocket is zippered, about 20 inches long. I tri-fold, lengthwise, hundred-dollar bills (US dollar) and line three bills end-to-end to stuff them inside the pocket. The maximum I can stuff were 12 bills or ($1200). One reviewer claimed to have $3,000 inside the pocket. I would like to learn how the dollar bills were folded to stuff that much without making the belt look too obvious for a money belt..5. I'll put both to use for my vacation trip next month and provide update after the trip.

A good emergency backup for important papers.
A nice thing about this belt is that it is nice enough to just regularly wear as a belt, rather than just for the pocket feature. The leather is thick and high quality. Construction seems solid as well. The buckle is a bit large, but not overly obtrusive. I've been wearing the belt for the past week to break it in before I head out of the country. And, it is doing just fine as a pants holder upper. :)The zippered pouch unzips and zips easily. However, there is not much room for more than a few folded paper copies of passport and credit cards, plus a few dollars. It will not fit a standard sized credit card. For that, I have a separate, under the clothes, money pouch. Even if a pickpocket could manage to uzip the secret pouch on this belt, it would be very difficult for them to remove the contents. So, this is perfect for document copies that you don't need to access regularly.I'm considering this belt to be the backup...a few emergency dollars and records should I lose all of my other money and documents. I'm hoping to never need to unzip it.

Acceptable At Best
This is just acceptable. The leather is thinner and flimsier than expected, it does not look quite like the photos. It has a nice buckle but I am concerned about the longevity of the leather.I had one money belt that lasted nearly 30 years, subsequent belts have not lasted more than 5 years and I estimate this will last about that long.I am neutral on recommendations other than to say I am not impressed! Not worth the money I paid!

Wore this every day the past 8 years
I purchased this belt January 31st 2015. The prong just broke! As I do not know how to replace the prong, I just ordered another today! I have carried many hundreds of dollars in that belt every day since then. It does everything it claims! The only negative that I can see is that the belt prong is just clamped on instead of a complete loop around the bar. Also the belt has increased about $20 in price in 8 years, but to be expected.
