Got these for my older kids rooms. I love the clean lines and led light. So quiet and well made. Perfect for a bedroom

Fan looks great. Light is a decent color temp for an LED. Very quiet operation and moves a ton of air for the size! Actual fan install was a breeze (minus the hours I spent changing out and bracing the box to be ok for a fan). Wall control / remote is nice enough and has reverse from the remote which is a plus. Not that getting a ladder out to move a switch twice a year is that big a deal, but it's convenient to have. Only complaint is the blue LED on the wall remote is annoying at night as it's visible from bed. Anyway, I bought one fan to see how we liked it and will be buying 3 more to replace older ones in the house.

This fan is perfect for our guest bedroom. It is close to the ceiling which allows my husband to walk around the room without having to duck. Very powerful yet quiet. The light is pleasant which is saying a lot as I usually hate turning on fan lights. The wall switch is a little awkward to use. I am concerned the buttons may eventually wear out over time from use as I have seen this happen with other similar products. It also takes a couple extra seconds to find the right button to turn the light on when I walk in the room. Time will tell.

tldr: Fan and light are good, wall switch has issues.The 'Remote' is the wall switch. To turn on the light, there is a tiny little button to push, it's annoying enough that I rarely turn on that light. There is also a blue light from the switch is way too bright. I used white electrical tape on the face plate to reduce the light from it at night. The blue light STILL goes through the tape. Crazy.The light and fan are fine. The fan is quiet, the light is dim-able, it was fairly easy to put up. I would have rather had an IR remote and a normal wall switch.

I've had this fan for less than a year and what I don't like about it is that the light is dim even at its brightest setting. In my other bedroom, I bought fans that were $200+ less than this fan and they move the same air and are alot brighter. This fan is also starting to do its own thing. Sometimes it reverses or speeds up on its own. You also hear clicking noises when you use it on the higher speeds. It looks good on the ceiling, but that's about it. I had the previous model before they went LED and it wasn't bright either, but at least it didn't have a mind of its own. Too bad I left that fan at my previous house. I getbthe feeling that I'm going fan shopping pretty soon and I doubt that it'll be another Minka Aire.

Couldn't be happier. The last home we owned had eight ceiling fans. After moving eight years ago and buying a mid 60's house with 8' ceiling we remodeled but couldn't find a fan that we were happy with for the lower ceiling height. This fan is perfect and dead silent. Wondered about the white color but it's perfect and fits the house well. The wall mounted light switch is identical to the remote & so easy to use. The fan blade are a little bigger than some fans and for a small diameter fan it moves a bunch of air.

We ordered this fan in August. We had to wait until September 7 to have it installed professionally. After a few weeks, the fan started to make a loud clicking noise. We called the contractor to look at it. He indicated there is a "defect in the motor bearing which is causing a clicking sound on each rotation." We contacted the seller to exchange it. The seller said we were past the return window and that they would contact the manufacturer. We haven't heard anything back. We now have a defective fan (after less than a month post installation) and are out $349. We are disappointed in this outcome and will never buy from this seller or purchase a Minka Aire product again if this is how they treat customers who have received a defective product. Please do better and make this right.

I have three of these, one in my office, one in our master bedroom, and one in our living room. We dislike air conditioning and with these fans we don't need it. Planning on getting another one. I have them installed but the man who does it did it quickly and with ease. Definitely the best ceiling fans we ever bought.
