Well made fermentation weights sporting a lovely crackle design. The storage rack is simple and effective. I love it for keeping the weights safe and organized.The knob, on each weight, is well formed with a very defined neck. It will be easy for the tongs to grasp when the ferments are ready.Great product at an excellent price point!

The media could not be loaded. I received my weights in less than 24 hours...so lightening fast shipping. The product came in a standard little box, each weight encapsulated in 3-4 layers of bubble sleeves, and the box was sealed with a polite thank you tape. The weights themselves have a nice solid heft to them and are small enough to maneuver in a regular mouth jar. Depending on what you are fermenting, cabbage as an example, you will need to save a couple leaves to put under the weight. Now as to why I knocked off 2 stars, see video. The stand is nice BUT the dowels are loose and I feel not very protective of the weights during storage. It will need some wood glue. Lastly, one of my four weights was broken upon receipt. I have notified the seller regarding this situation.**Revised...Seller sent a replacement immediately after contacting them which I received one day later!! Great service.

It worked well to weigh down the food, but I decided that I prefer the flat topped weights so that food and liquid doesn’t rest in the crevasses overtime.

…that states the weights are tempered glass. I feel much better with that fact.

I am making Sauerkraut and it is weighting down the cabbage perfectly.I fully recommend these for making Sauerkraut in a jar.

These are solid with a nice handle for picking them up. Plus having a little stand is so nice for them to not just be rolling around in a drawer.

Just tried they work well but found a cracks in four of the weights. Tried to take pics but show up.
