Very nice looking cords.
I know nothing about cat 8 cables. However my son said these work great. Very easy to use. The cord has some flexibility but is not floppy. They make our setup look very nice instead of that long bright yellow cord that Sprectrum provided. Less cord mess on my desk where the modem and router set.

Great for network cabinet cleanup
These 1’ Cat 8 cables were just what I needed to tidy up my rats nest of wiring in my home’s structured cable box. They were just the right length to go from my patch panels to my switches without any extra wire dangling and getting tangled together. The quality is also top notch, and Cat 8 future proofs your network for up to 40G theoretical throughput.

Great performance
The only reason I took a star: They are listed as 1ft cables. They are 12" from tip to tip, including the connectors. The CABLE is 9". Some may disagree with me on this, but when you're talking about cables this short, the measurement should not include the connector as that's not usable "length". Just my opinion. That being said....0. I tested every cable in the pack. They are consistent in every aspect below:1. SOLID build. from connector through the boot.2. The cable itself is smaller than standard Cat-anything, which is great for dense setups.3. The connectors are shielded, have a flap over the tab (part of the boot) and a "pretty" blue plastic for the plug itself (cosmetic, I know, but it gives a good impression for some reason.)4. The plugs seat well and click in nice and snug (compared to some I've used recently)5. 10Gbps performance is spot on. I don't have 40G on the bench at present.6. The shielding/ground is intact end-to-end.I could make my own shorties for "dressing out" the rack, I know. But these popped up on Vine, so I figured I would try them and could still make my own if need be. Happy I got these. Consistency in appearance in the rack AND performance, at a reasonable cost (am buying more!)VERY happy with these items.
