The gems are pretty, but no matter how much I tried I could not get the gems to stay. I went a full day without eating or doing anything to mess with the glue curing and the second I ate or brushed my teeth (very lightly) they were all falling out. Tried several times and could not get them to stay.

I love all of the gems it came with they have a bunch of different variations of sizes. The only problem was that the tooth glue doesn't stick well. If you want a temporary cute tooth gem this is perfect. I have these on my retainer since i can't wear them regularly. They have stuck on my retainer for a good few weeks with only one gem falling off.

I got this tooth gem kit for my teenage cousin, she had seen someone with a gem on their tooth and thought it was super cool so she asked me if I could get a kit and apply it for her so I did and it's really fun and cool looking. It's super easy to use and pretty easy to figure out how to use the kit. So it states that the gems can last a few weeks on the teeth or a few days between the teeth and for us the length of time is pretty accurate, she has had her gem on for about 3 and a half weeks and I think the reason hers is staying is I do nail art and when I apply acrylic or any thing to nails you need to clean and rough up the surface for better long lasting adhesion, so with that in mind I had her brush her teeth really well with her toothpaste of choice but then I had her follow it up with baking soda paste..I've used baking soda as a kid when we were out of toothpaste and baking soda is a little abrasive and I felt that might do the trick for the gem adhesion and longevity so after she brushed really well with that and she rinsed very well then it was drying the tooth or teeth she wanted a gem on and they include a swab to do that and we used it but I also used gauze to make sure and then it was the application of the glue and gem and then using the cure light and she reports there wasn't a taste and I kept the cure light on the gem area longer than a few minutes noted on the directions and I just think that has helped as well. But the final result is she loves it I've never seen her smile as much since getting her tooth gem and she's happy and having fun which is the ultimate goal and with school starting I'm sure she's going to come visit for another. This kit is great you get everything you need and for the price it's a good value. But to see a shy teen girl come out her shell it's priceless.
