Coast PM50R 255 Lumen Rechargeable Work Light with Laser Pointer, C.O.B Side Area Light and Magnetic Endcap

Ive been buying coast flashlights for years now and this is definitely one of my favorite flashlights from coast. The magnet is super strong. The lights are all useful and practical and it feels well made and slips easily into a pocket or belt without snagging on anything.

Needed a small flashlight I could keep in my pocket at all times. Wanted something that was bright and also versatile, this does just that. I love all the features this little light has to offer and I feel Coast owes me for being their #1 salesperson so far as others have decided to purchase this same light. The price may seem steep for such a little gadget but it will pay for itself immediately when put to use, not mention excellent all metal build quality, does not feel cheap at all. Also Like that the light can easily be recharged by usb c and that it has a handy battery life indicator so you know how much juice you got left

It’s exactly what I wanted. It has a bright flashlight with different brightness’s so it can be used inside or outside, a strong laser and several other great features. 5/5

The only issue I have with this flashlight is that the on/off button is incredibly easy to accidently press. If I have it in my pocket at work it will inevitably be turned on at some point and I almost never notice until it is dead and I need to use it.Otherwise, the magnet is convenient and the different lighting options are great for various angles. I'd say the battery is reasonable but I honestly can't tell on a normal day because it is generally turned on without me noticing.

The light was absolutely great while it lasted for around 3 months, but after a roughly 2 foot fall to the floor, when the magnet didn’t hold it securely to a metal surface, it totally ceased to function. To be clear, the metal was very thin and this is not at all a negative reflection on the strength of the magnet which I found to be reasonably strong.I didn’t see that the listing says that the light is shockproof, so I don’t feel it’s fair to one star it. However, the listing clearly implies it’s a work light and the fact of the matter is that with the intended function of magnetic lights it is certain that they will inevitably fall. It is for these reasons that I feel lackluster durability is still not wholly excusable and deserving of a bad review.I really want to have the wide functionality that this light offers, and I am almost tempted to buy it again, but after such a light fall breaking it I don’t think I can bring myself to. I’ll just be dreading the next light shock that might break a new one leading to another wasted purchase.Additionally, the light is not at all serviceable, which to be fair is sadly common for modern compact lights. With disassembly basically destroying it. Which is a shame as I repair electronics for a living and could have just resoldered whatever connection probably failed. I feel it’s worth mentioning as it was my first thought after it stopped working, and I’m sure others may consider that option when weighing possible failures.

It is a cool design, I mostly use the laser, but I often accidentally touch it and turn on the light, which I really don't like.

Perfect light, pointer is a must to show customers what are you taking about on their cars
