WiFi-Connection Important tips before WiFi connection: 1. The camera works with 2.4Ghz WiFi ONLY, 5GHz WiFi is not supported! 2. ' and & are not supported in WiFi name and password. 3. The camera is NOT BATTERY powered, It MUST connect power supply to outlet all the time. WiFi Configuration: 1. Download "Wansview" App from App store or google play. 2. Power the camera on, connect it to router with included Ethernet cable. 3. Run "Wansview" App, tap symbol "+" and select "Add camera via wired mode" to setup WiFi, then please follow wizard to setup the camera step by step. Decent for the price
For the money these are decent cameras. I have 5. 3 in the backyard, patio, and garage. Two in the front yard porch & yard. 2.4 ghz only sucks but it works. Will drop connection time to time but not enough to be a major problem. Can't use a SD card you need an external DVR or record to computer. The wansview app for Android & iPhone works well as well as the app for pc & mac. My only complaint is the occasional service drop but a simple reboot/ restart solves the problem. The motion detection/ alerts is kinda jinky & I don't use them. For the money I'm good.

Pretty nice camera
Pretty nice camera, good support, I got email response within the same day. Had an issue getting wireless setup to work but plugged in it set up fine then I could go wireless. Has it's own DDNS address! Could use a better, more detailed manual.

Bought two and neither worked.
We recently remodeled our home and bought two cameras. We had them installed and could not get either to even turn on. We tried working with the person who is over the app but were not successful. Now I’m past my return window. Don’t buy!

I gave 1 star on the motion because I don't use that feature. I record 24_7 I have several of these cameras and all work great

I went to download the file from Google and was warned it may harm may computer.

Warning!!! There is no Apple iPhone APP for this camera!!!!! If you have iPhone, you will not find APP ismartviewpro in Apple store.
