The knife is beautiful. The blade is real damascus steel not a stamped design. It is very hard to close though. Maybe my fingers are not as strong as they used to be but it really hurts my finger to push the lock release to close the knife. Maybe it will get easier if I work with it. Great knife for the price if you have strong fingers.
