Not bad. But don't get too carried away. I did, and I am talking about getting on to page 4 of an A4 page and the pen and ink starts to give up. I dare say most people will be writing beautifully written short phrases with deft calligraphic strokes. I think this is what it is designed to be used for. But it held up well and did the job I wanted it to do - about 10 sides of A4 paper in not too many sittings

This has certainly bought back to life my old Sheaffer pen I normally use a parker fountain pen as I am an advocate of the old way,s are the best way,s certainly worth the money I paid.

I bought a used Sheaffer pen from a charity shop for £4, less than the cost of the cartridges. But, useless without them. I did wonder whether cheaper cartridges would work bu stumped up for the genuine article. I will now use this pen for writing in birthday cards and signing international peace treaties where a biro just does not cut the mustard.
