This review is regarding my govo speaker soundbar. Most of the review I copy from an other good review because I personally found it very much true and detailed. Decent sound for this price! What can I say about this masterpiece, you will love this. Trust me sound stage is wide, base is wall shaking and perfect. It will surely give us a good taste of music experience. 1) Remote sensor is in the soundbar and hence very easy to point & use. 2) They have provided metal clamp holders to suit the soundbar and 2 satellite speakers too along with nails/scruw, etc 3) You have to keep rear satellite speakers behind your seating seprated by 10 feet (at your waist height from the ground) to experience real surround sound. 4) Connect using HDMI ARC cable (provided with box) for the best sound experience. 5) Bluetooth mode works great with any phone that has Dolby output. 6) Sub-woofer is way too strong & I have been keeping it at minus -5 all the time. Subwoofer connected with soundbar through cable which have sufficient length to place it near convenient place. 8) Once connected via HDMI ARC cable, you only need a tv remote to control the speaker volume. Also, once you set up the speaker, all settings will be remembered even after unplugging the power. 9) I compared this with Sony HT-S40R wireless 5.1 and I found the mids, lows & highs are completely detailed in this bar. Bass is more punchy in this bar than Sony. In Sony it's muddy type bass which suppress the mids and highs. Subwoofer quality is above most requirements for any kind of indoor party. While on birthday party of my daughter my nighbours come to complain for too much bass coming at their home through 18" ded end walls. 10) Speaker actual gives detailing of mids/highs/lows after volume 21 and above.. try to stand at the center with all above settings & feel the surround sound. 11) In low/cheap quality speaker system the rear satellite speakers also will produce the same volume as the front soundbar which is actually very bad. This was the main reason for me to say this is of great quality because satellite speakers should only act as additional support and minuses out any below 5000 frequency tones and give that detailing in the back side rare-channel effect. It supports the front soundbar like a professional home theater and thats the job of satellite speakers.. just support the detailing only! It actually works great if you set it up well.. (Stand in center to feel the difference in detailing while playing audio via bluetooth (not youtube audio) .. check any AR Rehman songs. 12) All OTT apps like Netflix, Amazon, etc., detect a new audio format as either "5.1 audio" or as "Dolby audio" depending upon the moviemaker's preferences only when you connect via HDMI ARC. But please note, youtube is known to downgrade audio quality by compressing the audio so it will not that great because of youtube issues. Youtube audio compression can only be noticeable if you are a true audio pill. Its very minor. 13) So: Tr at +5, Sw at -5, Surr at +5, Cent at 0, (all above settings are available on remote) when volume is above 22.. with all speakers at your face-level (when you are seated) will give you an exact home theater experience. The subwoofer on floor, Satellite speakers behind your seats at your head-level (when seated) and satellite speakers seperated by 10 feet distance will give best experience. Product sound is good but sub woofer stopped working in 20 days of purchase. As any electronic device problems at any time it's not sure and we can't judge it by this. But the problem is arises when the brand is not supporting you I mean govo is saying that this product is under warranty for one year from the date of purchase but this product started problems after 20 days of purchase when I contacted to govo customer care they ask me to send a video for the product to identify what is the problem in it I have send all the required things to govo. But after 15 days has passed till today no response I have received from the go mean while I have contacted them many times through customer care and email but they didn't reply. Then what is the use of a good product when you will not get any support from the brand in the case of problems. Today on dated Feb 26, 2025 i am again updating regarding service after sales byy team govo as after 3 months passed my problem not solved. They neither repairingthe defective part not replacing the product. I am mentall tired with discussion with then. They never contact you after complaint registration. You have to call them whenever you want the status of your complaint. But intrestingly whwnever you call them every time new person on other side and you have to explain everyything to him and after that he makes falce promise regarding repair/replacement. you cant that person again and no email or rext you would receive regarding your conversation with him. So next time you call them again new person will there ans same stor repeats again. I never faced such pathic customer care support. So before buying govo prosuct think twice. After persueing the Govo customer care for four months continuously, they finally sent me a replacement, but it has not been even two months since it was sent and the power supply of the woofer got damaged again And now I tried to contact customer care again, then the customer care said that now it is not under warranty, so you should get it repaired from a local shop, when I contacted the local shop, its components are not available in local market I tried everywhere for the SMPS of this subwoofer but I didn't find so in conclusion this product is now useless after one and half year I am a teacher message of the power supply if anyone find alternative of this supply please let me know but for go I must say that never never never ever purchase a govo product

GOVO GoSurround 990 Soundbar fully satisfied my requirements as always wanted a soundbar while i watching movies. - The audio is crisp, clear and adjusting to the movie types. - In box, it comes with all the necessary cables the user manual. And we can set this within 30 minutes and make it ready to use. - For this price, this is really value for money, I would say. - Sometimes, I am facing issues with Bluetooth connectivity but that also can be easily fixed once you restart your soundbar. I would say, use HDMI eARC cable for crystal clear clarity and avoiding connectivity issue. Overall, I would say this soundbar worth giving 4/5 rating.

I brought govo go surround 970 sound bar on dec 2023. I am writing this review after one year of usage. Pros: 1. Bass is punchy and easy to listen 2. Multiple input options. 3. Surround sound is decent and we can control the surround volume. Cons: 1. I received an used product and it was not working. After that the product was returned and nee product received. So, we can’t trust the received product. 2. The received product was also has some issues. Bluetooth is not connecting. I tried with multiple devices and it’s not working. Still the issue is not resolved. 3. No support from customer care. They will reply you only in emails. Reg the Bluetooth issue they have provided the solution via email to reset the device. But the solution was not working. 4. Treble is scratchy. When we listen to news or any video with only voice we can hear the scratching sound. Very poor treble. 5. The product is not reliable. That’s why this product was discontinued. This is not reliable brand. Final opinion, don’t go for this brand. If you get the good product then it’ll be fine. If there is any issues then you have to live with them and other choices. Customer care support is very poor. You can’t expect support. So, better go with good brands then the product life will be better. I have one more Sony HT IV 300. This brand no way near to the Sony.

I always wanted to have a good home theater system without breaking my pocket and I am not a bass head, a decent bass with balanced mids and highs was my preference, So I researched a lot online and offline and I was suggested to go for a well known brand like Sony, LG, or even Zebronics. I had a budget of 18k, I came across this brand called 'Govo', To be honest I was a bit skeptical about it and I thought it'd be a risk going with this brand, but then I decided to give it a try or I should say I kinda gambled with it, and I won! Especially This model with wireless Sub caught my attention and I went for it, and I am glad I made this decision. Looks and build quality wise this is fantastic you cannot complain, and now let's talk about the sound quality, this is a monster, as soon as you turn the soundbar and sub it will connect quickly I have kept the sub at the distance of 15 feets, I don't even need to go beyond 12 volume level, and the bass level is set to -6 as I said I am not a bass head, even at lowest the bass is enough according to me and it's deep and doesn't overpower the vocals, the mids and highs are crisp and clear, all channels can be heard separately means its a true 5.1 system, dialogues are clear and Dolby is there So it gives a theater experience. It's powerful enough to shake your room as well as your neighborhood, my friend tested it on full volume And then we felt its real power, to our surprise we didn't feel any distortion in sound at max volume, we were impressed. So, If you're looking for a good home theater system within 10-11k budget, I'd strongly recommend this. And Please note: Use a good quality hdmi arc cable to enjoy this beauty, I had used a generic hdmi cable earlier, I felt the sound was not good enough, I thought this product had issues but I was wrong, it was not the system's fault, So, kindly use a 4k 18gbps rated hdmi cable with this system, and It will blow your mind. Thanks to Govo for this wonderful product. I loved it.
