I originally ordered this as a drop cloth to put over an antique sofa- something when extra thickness was important. However this was a much better quality than I’d expected. I ended up over dying it snd making a camping pack lol.The 7oz is durable and pretty rugged. It worked really well for outdoor gear and was easy to work with on a standard sewing machine with a denim needle.It shrank some in the wash- as expected but took dye very well. It’s thick cotton but not waterproof. It’s completely uncoated and free of toxic sealer (major plus!) I waxed this without a problem and it did great in the little big of rain we had. I was really pleased and would definitely order again.

I’m really pleased with the canvas fabric I received! It looks just like the pictures—no surprises there. The size is exactly as described, and the thickness is just right. It feels sturdy and well-made, perfect for whatever project I have in mind. There’s nothing wrong with it at all; it’s exactly what I was hoping for.

This canvas cloth is just what I was hoping for -- a slightly rustic sturdy cloth with the tiny flecks of natural canvas. It's light weight enough to be used for clothing, which is what I'm planning to do. The weave is even enough to use for cross stitch and embroidery, although it's not 100% uniform. It could be used to make a tote bag, and would hold most items -- not books or potatoes or other very heavy things, but fine for normal stuff. The canvas has some drape to it, suitable for clothing. It would also be good painting canvas.The canvas I received was a full yard -- 36 to 37 inches long. There are two selvage edges and two raw cut edges. The selvages are very similar to the main area of the cloth with just a slight difference in texture/weave pattern -- almost invisible. The cloth is so wide that I can make a simple vest/short sleeve shirt from one yard, and I wear size 2XL.I'm very happy with this light canvas duck cloth, and I look forward to having an all-season peasant shirt to wear.
