965824-01 965824-02 Fan Remote Replacement for Dyson Compatible with Dyson Fan Models AM06 AM07 AM08 with Magnetic

I took it out of the package and every function worked great with my Dyson Cool fan. Since Dyson has decided to stop selling remotes and other replacement parts, in hopes that you will by another one of their expensive products, I had to look elsewhere for a remote. It is lighter, less weight than the Dyson remote, but works the same. And it is 10 bucks cheaper than what Dyson charged for theirs when they once sold them.

Didn't work for us

This replacement remote works perfectly for my Dyson AM06, just put the battery in, and just point and click. The remote feels like every other remote you could imagine, small and plastic, there's not much else to say.

Original review: I actually prefer this remote to the original since the OEM remote has a weird velvety coating that eventually comes off. This remote also has a stronger magnet, so I highly recommend it!Update: This remote only lasted 6 months before the two top buttons (power and rotation) stopped working after a drop. I have only dropped it a handful of times, at that. I liked this remote better than the original but the original was 100% functional even after years of dropping it.
