Nice, but pricey
I initially discovered the LALO brand through their Paw Patrol collaborations and have always been impressed with their safe and high quality baby products, especially the silicone ones, and I've always felt that if price isn't a major concern for you, you can't go wrong with LALO. That being said, if I weren't receiving this through the Vine program, I would have a tough time justifying the price tag, especially as this is a purchase more for the parent than for the baby. This package includes 4 items:*Rinse cup - For me, this cup really hits that Goldilocks zone of not-too-big and not-too-small, it's just the right size. Lightweight with a good grip, it has a hard plastic base to give it some rigidity, but a silicone top liner for added comfort. Maybe just a case of over-engineering, this cup manages to simultaneously feel both perfect and a bit mundane.*Spout Cover - This feels really nice. The silicone is thick enough to give it a bit of rigidity while being soft enough to absorb any accidental impacts comfortably, I think they did a great job with this as long as you have a standard sized/shaped faucet. I highly recommend every parent get a silicone spout cover, even if not this one.*Knee Pad - The knee pad was a little smaller than I expected... just fine if you're staying in one spot, but it's not going to give much leeway for leaning to the sides. This has some pluses too though, as we don't have much room for a large kneepad between the toilet and bath, so the compactness isn't entirely unwelcome. And speaking of compactness, the padding itself was surprisingly compact... it's soft enough to be comfortable for kneeling, but really doesn't compress much at all. Much firmer than I was expecting, which I don't particularly think of as a pro or a con, just surprising.*Elbow Pad - Similar to the knee pad, the elbow pad is very compact in both size and foam compression. It comes with 4 suction cup anchors, and the first time I used it, I made the mistake of anchoring them straight down on either side of the tub. The suction held well, but I still felt like the pad slid around far too much for my tastes and I was likely to injure myself leaning on it. However, I reapplied them, this time at a 45 degree angle down and out, and found that did a MUCH better job holding the pad in place. It still has a slight amount of wiggle to it, but little enough that it feels both safe and comfortable. Definitely take a few moments playing around with the suction cup placement before you start using this with a kid in the tub.Overall, this kit offers some nice quality-of-life bonuses for a tired parent. Each piece feels not only like it's high quality, but like a lot of thought went into it to find the perfect balances between utility, comfort, and safety. That being said, other than the Spout Cover, these are bonuses for the parent rather than the baby and I feel like you could get not-quite-as-good options at considerably less cost. I still recommend them, but if you're looking for more bang for your buck, I'd start with Lalo's kitchen offerings rather than their bath sets.

Great set
Lalo Bathtime Essentials is a great set for bath time. The knee and elbow saver is supportive and comfortable to use. The rinse cup is sleek and functional. The spout cover is not compatible with my spout so definitely check before purchase. Overall, the set is practical and stylish. The down side is the price ($65 at this time).

Saves my knees while giving my dog a bath
I use this cushioned knee and arm rest when I give my dog a bath. I usually try to put a towel down but I'm shifting around while bathing her when my knees start to hurt. This thickly padded mat lets me kneel while protecting my knees and it has made a big difference. The rinse cup is also great, it has a thick silicone covered handle that is easy to grip especially when your hands are wet and soapy and it holds a good amount of water. There is a silicone cover for the bathtub spout and the elbow pads which don't work for my purposes because my Shiba is not always cooperative while taking a bath. This would be great for a baby and would make a thoughtful and useful gift.

Capable; Nicely Arranged: Thoughtfully Designed; Wish it Were Gel Pads vs Foam; Small 4 Dad
Initial impression? This is a capable bath pad set; that is nicely arranged and thoughtfully designed. However, these are not gel pads, rather, some sort of foam and neoprene. All pads do offer cushion; however, they are not as comfortable had they been gel pads (which typically are expensive). However, these are not inexpensive, and I consider them to command a more premium price than bargain. Further, although the knee pad is (17”) wide, Dad really cannot fit, as he does not kneel with his legs together, the mechanics make it just too difficult for him to do so. Therefore, the pad is too narrow. However, for mom, not an issue, who is more petite and has the mechanics to keep her knees together. Something is better than nothing – or constantly setting down towels.Care? The knee pad and elbow savers I can machine wash; I use cool water and prefer gentle cycle; I do not use the dryer, rather, hang to dry.Cup and spout coverThese two (2) items are useful additions, although somewhat plain looking, but they do match the color scheme of the pads. The cup is generous in size and has a soft edge. The handle is easy to grasp.Any certifications?Lalo claims that everything is Proposition 65 compliant, whatever that means, and that all items meet or exceed ASTM safety standards.WeightThe retail like package, which contained the contents of all items was about 2¾ pounds.Certifications?CPSC – An importer of a “child's product,” which this arguably is, in part, although it is also intended for adults, must certify their product meets Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) safety standards. Information to comply is to include a tracking label on the packaging, with information such as (1) The Manufacturer; (2) Date of production – Appears to be January 2024; (3) Batch number; (4) Place of origin – China; (5) support contact. Some of these requirements I think I noticed, but it should be made clear.ASTM – A set of standards that must be complied with issued by The American Society for Testing and Materials, known as ASTM International. Lalo makes claims surrounding this.OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification – which is one of the world's best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. In my opinion, textiles with this certification gives me confidence the product has a high safety threshold. I did not see that certification here.UL/ETL listed? My understanding is that such certification, from UL/ETL, “may” be possible with children’s products. I see no certification/service mark from either UL/ETL, but I will not reduce for the lack as I am not certain if the standard is possible with thin. Why the concern about certifications?I do “not” want an expose my child to something I should not, in part, from what it is made from.Does this have a potential?I am no expert, that’s why I should be utterly convinced, through as many certifications as possible. Does this have such? Yes, to some degree, as noted above.Anything else?Lalo claims BPA free and FDA approved non-toxic for some parts of the items. I would rather see something concrete with the product. Is this perfect? No, but I appreciate all items.Gender specific?I think not. I think it’s unisex – the reader can decide.Wish list? Some sort of mesh carrying bag would have been nice so that it could double as a wash bag.Country of origin?Made in China.Rating? For me, considering my above thoughts, including cost, this is a solid four (4) star item; for me, it just is not a perfect five (5) star, but it’s near it.I hope my thoughts added a wee bit of information.

Very High End Bath Time Items
If you want quality and sleek looking bath time items for your little one, look no further! These blend in with decor rather than sticking out as being kid stuff. They're all shaped neutrally with colors an adult could appreciate and works with lots of bathroom colors. They all feel high quality as well which is great since bath time stuff usually gets changed out so fast due to mildew issues. So far no mildew here! Overall a great set to get for yourself or to give as a gift that will impress with the quality!
