Beyond expectations. Not too spicy, and perfect consistency. I would suggest letting it sit for a few minutes (20-30) to allow the dried ingredients to rehydrate and improve the texture.

Not exactly what I had expected
Doesn't taste like coconut. This was very spicy, had a disgusting texture and I wouldn't recommend it whatsoever.

Tasty and convenient.
This coconut chutney was very interesting and not what I was thinking of. I usually think of chutney as having bigger chunks in it and an element of sweetness. This actually comes out looking just like the tahini dressing I make, and it's quite a bit spicier. It was a little on the spicy side for me, but I'm not hard core, so I had to be careful how much I used, but it was still very good tasting. I love that it's shelf stable so that when I don't have time to make something from scratch, I can grab this and still have a well-rounded meal.

Stomach Didn't Like This
I am giving this an average rating because it is delicious and nearly instant to make. The texture is also nice for spreading. Unfortunately, it did not agree with my stomach. Even the next day, this lingered and left me feeling bloated and gross. There are also bits in it that did not rehydrate, so it had little hard bits almost like raw lentils. I measured the water according to the package directions, so I don't know what went wrong. While the taste it good, I would not buy any more based on this experience.

Slightly off putting powder at first, but tasty
The fact that it comes in a powder form seemed a little off-putting to me at first, but it was really fragrant and tasty! It's also super handy and relatively shelf stable because it is dry. This makes it convenient for lazy cooking nights.

This was tasty and I love the coconut!
This was so easy to make -- well, not really make as much as mix. I had this with some rice and it was amazing. The next morning, I spread it on some toast, and I thought it was fantastic! The coconut is subtle. I wish it were slightly stronger, but then, I always want stronger flavors than a lot of other reviewers. Overall, I am so pleased with this product!
