Lightweight but strong
Great little mini tripod with metal legs. Very strong and takes the weight of a heavy DSLR camera with a long lens. Useful straps are also supplied so you can tie the tripod to something solid or higher off the ground. The tripod has two set heights (selected by a twist ring) but the height can still be adjusted between the two settings. The legs can be independently adjusted to accommodate uneven surfaces. In the legs it has slits (for the straps) and standard threaded holes to add accessories. I have purchased additional cold shoes to bolt on to the legs so I can attach remote triggers etc.It has a natty sprung-loaded 1/4" or 3/8" screw which means it will fit both types of ball head. So you don't need an additional adapter (which tends to make it more unstable, but this device is solid).Would recommend it as the tripod you always carry with you - it is very light, and fits in your pocket.

Excellent tripod, super sturdy, but lightweight!
I got this to work with my monopod as a foot or for use on a table. It is marvellous, solidly built and works in two positions, nearly flat and standing. It is so strong and stable, I've been happy to use this with my Camcorder at about 1.5m on the monopod, granted it was stood on a solid surface. The screwthread is 1/4" which fits the monopod with the spike removed. This completes my ultra lightweight monopod setup, very nicely!

Useful piece of kit for my camera bag
This is a small but heavy duty metal camera tripod, you can feel it is solid when you pick it up, it feels sturdy and weighty. The manufacturers claim it can hold loads up to 80kg, thankfully i no longer have any camera equipment that heavy to test it with but i can tell you that it is handling my Sony RX10 DLSR/Bridge type camera and its long lens and a bunch of accessories with no problems. This is not just a desktop tripod, it can be used for more tricky camera mounting positions, each leg has 2 slots to allow the 3 webbing scraps to be slipped through then strapped to any 3 points (see photos), the lock buckle is plastic but it holds the straps tight in turn holding the tripod in position perfectly. Each leg of the tripod has 2 x 1/4 inch holes allowing you to add on a number accessories such as a light or flash, or another camera or an extension arm, anything you would normally mount on a camera rigNone of the accessories i show in my photos came with the tripod, the camera head, light, extension arm and iPhone mounts were all purchased separately, i understand the Amazon seller of this tripod sells a matching ball tripod head for this tripod but i had a spare one already so didn’t need it.The only accessory it comes with are the 3 straps and a 3/8 to 1/4 screw converter to allow you to mount a tripod head as i have. The red ring in the centre can be twisted one way or the other, to allow the tripod legs to be set almost flat or elevated to about 45 degrees. Each foot has a solid block of rubber at the end, this protects the surface it is sat on perfectly.Because the rubber is very smooth i have been able to take some really nice tracking shots by sliding the tripod over my melamine desk, its not the same as a proper mini-dolly but its close enough for a quick shotHeight110 mm to base of mount when legs set to 45 degrees35 mm to base of mount when legs set flatThe fact that this can be used at a desktop tripod for macro/close up use as well as strapped to a tree for outdoor shots makes this a very useful piece of kit for my camera bagI like fiddling about with different camera mounts and rigs so i look forward to seeing where else i can mount a camera with this cool little tripod/mount

I am rather impressed by it overall
It's a great bit of kit. Sturdy - I went for the more expensive type - enough for my Panasonic G9 with a 100 x 300 lens attached. Perhaps not the word's most attractive mini tripod, not that that concerns me. I like the bolts for the legs so I can tighten them if needed. The rubber feet are a good idea. No damage to table tops. The 1/4" screw mounts, one in each leg, are an added bonus. It came with three short straps that, despite being pointless for the tripod as far as I was concerned, were great for something I had planned for my backpack. Uncomfortable to hold for any length of time. Nowhere near as comfortable as my Zhiyun one (more expensive and unobtainable at the moment) and the price was high. Change one of those and it'd be five star. I recommend it.

un must have

Insuperable Calidad precio excelente
Producto de gran calidad. Robusto.
