Q: Do they get hot in the microwave?

No. 1st thing we did with the plates was put one in the microwave with a mug with 1/3 cup of water in it for one minute. The water got very hot and the plate remained a comfortable warm - exactly what one looks for it to do.

Q: The measurements listed don't make sense----what size are they?

I believe the 11.00 measurement refers to the dinner plates, the pasta/salad bowls measure 9.50 across and hold one liter.

Q: Does anyone have the seller or manufacturer contact information? Unfortunately just broke one of them and would like to get a replacement!
