If you use electrodes, I recommend this. It’s a very good product and if your electrodes are throw away ones, they last a lot longer guaranteed.

Wish I was told to use this instead of water on the electrode pads for my tens unit.The gel makes the pads stick better and gives me a better contact on the skin.

I personally didn't notice much of a difference using this with my tens machine, so I don't bother using it. Since I have it here, I do have a little handheld EMS red light device that I use on neck, and you need to use gel with it, so I decided to try this with that. Just like all other gels, it becomes sticky quickly, but again, that's all of them. The thing that will stop me from using this gel anywhere close enough to smell it is that it has a slight fishy smell that I found unbearable.I gave it four stars just because it is a conductive gel, and from the reviews it sounds like it works for a lot of people. I took a star off for the smell.

I bought this because my Garmin heart rate monitor was giving odd readings at the beginning of bike rides. I'd get a section of 250bpm because I'm assuming the connectors weren't lubed up with sweat.I started using this electrode gel and haven't gotten an odd reading since. I run a small bead along both sides of the heart rate strap before I put it on my chest.It works the way I wanted it to work, so I don't have any complaints. There isn't any residual goop after the ride, so there's no cleanup afterwards.

I've been using a TENS unit for a while now. The instructions say to put a few drops of water on them after use to extend them. I've had no luck with that. So I bought this electrode gel. I figured that's what they use for EKG's and such. It works great. Even pads that wouldn't stick at all work again. It will save you a lot of money.

This gel gives new life to tens unit pads. It allows you to reuse the pads longer. Couldn't live without it. I use my tens unit trough out the day and night for my back pain.All you have to do is put a drop on the phone a d before applying the pad. You don't need to cover the whole pad.

I thought this would be a little stickier than it is. I would equate it more with an ultrasound gel than an electrode gel. It makes the electrode moist but doesn't make it any stickier. For older or more dried-out patches, you need a little something to help it adhere to the skin.That said, it doesn't smell bad, comes out of the bottle easily, and works well to moisten the pads. I just wish it helped them stick better to my skin.
