This kit is very good. I was able to finish 1 window and 1 screen sliding door with the kit provided.The provided hook tool makes it easy to fish things out. the blade provided is sharp and allows for clean cuts...I dont know how durable the screen is as of yet. The original one was a metal screen, and this one is made of some sort of plastic material. Time will tell.I would like suggest to manufacturer to provide some few small pieces of sticky duck tape to help secure the screen while installing.For now,I suggest to to any one installing this to have a few pieces of duck tape handy. I used them to secure the corners of the screen so that it does not move around when you are installing it. Makes the job easy if the stuff does not move around.

It comes with everything you need to complete multiple window & door screens. The screening is easy to work with, the included tools were decent, and two doors screens were quickly and easily replaced.HOWEVER... splines come in different sizes and the supplied spline material might not fit as other reviewers hove noted. In my case it was too small, about 3.5mm versus old 4mm. Luckily the old spline was still flexible and reusable. No trip to the hardware store was necessary.So just in case, save your old spline. You'll be happy with your results.

So easy a kid could do it. Instead of messing with patch kits, I replaced the entire screen for less than the cost of a night out.The kit comes with everything you need — screen material, spline, and the tools to get it installed. The fiberglass mesh feels durable, cuts cleanly, and fit my door perfectly. Took under an hour start to finish, and it looks brand new.

Let's preface this review with three bits of information:- I'm moving out of my apartment- I adore my cat, but he was a holy FAST terror as a kitten and loved to climb screens- I'm a responsible renter and I want my security deposit backI was hesitant and almost fearful to replace my screens, but my conscience and the fact that he got to Every. Single. Window. got the best of me, so I looked for a kit and some instructional videos online. After a date with YouTube and a delivery notification, I got to work.I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of this kit. In addition to the immense amount of screen, it comes with enough spline to finish your project, a handy measuring tape, a hook thingie that looks like a torture device but is invaluable to taking the old screen out, a spline roller to make installation easy, and a tiny, SHARP box cutter to trim the screen.I was initially apprehensive about this project, but having everything I needed right in the box made the installation easy. There is a TON of screen in this package. I was able to replace the screens in 4 medium - large side sliding windows with no problem. The tools were also really easy to use, especially the screen roller, which has a nice grip and doesn't feel gross in your hand when you have to push the spline in.After about 2 hours' worth of work, all of my screens are now pristine! I also feel kind of like a badass.Most importantly, though - my reputation as a tenant remains untarnished, my apartment looks like I have my act together, and I'll hopefully get my deposit back without issue.If you're on the fence and have gross window screens -- just get this kit. You'll feel great once you fix them up.Just watch out for enthusiastic kittens.

Works and looks great but not enough spline the the amount of screen you receive

Came with everything I, perfect size just make sure you measure and get just a tad bigger than needed. It was a great price. Easy to install and screen looks like new again

Easy to use! Worked great and mesh feels pretty sturdy! The cording that it came with was too thick for my screens so I just reused the old cord. The mesh definitely made a difference in the look of my windows and I feel it also helped a bit with the sun too! I had my 11 year old help me with them on the living room floor and they turned out great! I used 2 kits and that was enough for 4- large windows and 6- medium windows

Great product with all of the tools needed. Cut your piece of screen with some overage. Once you start the black filler, give it a slight pull while using the rolling tool to secure in place. Use enclosed utility knife to cut off overage. Really pleased - Thanks!
