I bought this due to my gpu being too big to fit in a wifi card into my pc.When I first plugged it in, it installed its drivers and then worked, but only at around 10-30mbps. However upon switching it to an adjacent USB port (both of USB 3.0) it suddenly started churning out 150-200mbps. I am happy with this product.4/5 stars due to the quality of the casing on the dongle being rather poor, however it works and I'm sure it will continue to work even if the casing does fall apart.

I get less than 2mbps on my desktop with this dongle. If I use my very cheap laptop in the same room I get 35 mbps. I have wasted a week adjusting every setting, but nothing improves the performance. A waste of time, money and the plastic used to make it.
