It's a cute first fish tank
I grew up with aquariums. I always had one. This is actually the first time in my life I haven't had one. Now my daughter has the bug. This is an excellent first option. Large enough for one or two fish. But not too large glfor a blchilds bedroom on the dresser next to toys. It's perfectly fitting for a child unlike the others we looked at that looked more for adults or office spaces. If you could get them to stay where you put them a Lego would feel at home here. The price is comparable to those other tanks which on average cost more though they did have options a six year old doesn't care about or need. Now, the tank, great little tank, everything fits and works well except for... the pump. Don't misunderstand me. It works, too well, the thing is like a little jet engine for the water with something to prove. We initially got this tank with a Beta in mind but when we put the little fella in the it just blew him all over the tank ( even after the easy fix which I'll tell you how to do) the current was just too strong for him. Perfect for a gold fish, not a Beta. The problem is the little aerator, it diverts part of the water flow to add bubbles but it's just too much. So all I did was take a pair of scissors, cut a small corner of the padding like filter media off and tucked it in aerator with a toothpick extensively blocking it up and diverting all the water flow through the water fall feature. Took two minutes, cost nothing and worked like a charm. Still a little too much current for a Beta so we got him another tank and bought Goldie. This is a really cute and easy to use first tank for a child, easy to feed through the chimney, easy to operate the light. Easy to set up. Only a very small issue with an easy fix. It's been up and running strong for a couple of weeks now .

Cute
It was cute but the pump is strong and sucked up the Molly's. The Coi was fine but we had to get a bigger tank. Over all, my fault for getting to small a tank.

Filter is dangerous
We purchased this tank for our betta male. We hadn’t even had the new tank for 24 hours and it killed our betta. The filter sucked him to the white tube that pulls the water up through the filter and ripped off his tail. Do not buy this tank.

Really well made
This tank is really cute and well made. It is actually glass. It is easy to setup, clean and access the filter and light. I work on and make doll house miniatures so this is really a nice little tank to have on my work desk. Though I wouldn't really recommend it for any fish, but would work really well for any shrimp, and the filter can be removed. So making it a terrarium is very easy to do as well.

So Cute
This is probably the cutest fish tank I have ever had. I only have a single betta in it, but he seems happy. It was easy to set up. My only complaint, and it is really minor, is that there's not enough gravel (nor sand) to at least cover the bottom of the tank. That was an easy fix though.

Great kit...
I posed a thorough review of this kit but Amazon deleted it for some reason that I can't fathom. I'll take new pictures shortly. This kit is a fantastic all-in-one package that gives you everything you need. The glass is sturdy, there is significant plastic reinforcement on the top and bottom of the tank. The upper portion has a plastic 'roof' that looks great and contains the tank's light together with a control button. Inside there is a platform that has a water pump and a filtration chamber. It is not lightweight since the manufacturer went for sturdy construction. You get a ton of ornaments, gravel, and sand. There's nothing to dislike about this kit at all, I probably will pick up another.

Don't do it
I have had now two betas in this tank and they have both died within almost a week of being in the tank.Never buying this again. Unless you take out the big blue fake anemone and block the bottom of the filter with rocks then you might be just fine.

Terrific
This is a neat little aquarium and great for a starter fish tank. Obviously, you can't have more than one or two fish in something this small, but it is kind of adorable. The tank is clear glass of good quality and the plastic adornments make it look like a little LEGO house. I love that the chimney is a feeding spout! We got a beta fish and a teeny frog to go in it. So far so good. My only concern (mentioned by others) is that the filter is too strong and that someone might get sucked up into it (Finding Nemo, anyone?) We put a small piece of natural sponge in the opening to slow the flow down a little and that seems to be working.
