Good idea, bad execution
PRO: sturdy metal frame. Simple.CON:(1) Large one places dinner dishes too high for old fashioned cabinets with unmovable shelves, unless you use the very bottom shelf. As the picture shows, the dish bottoms could be lower, to lessen the height.(2) Even then, you have to take a lot of care to remove a plate, as the slippery surface of the resin coating allows all the other dishes to slide.(3) In fact, it is only stable if you load it completely. You can't have just one or two dishes in it.(3) Because it is not affixable to the surface, the whole rack moves when you load and unload it.SUGGESTIONS:Lower the bottom center piece.Use a more rubbery surface on the side and middle bars to hold the dishes more securely.Add tabs with screw holes to allow fixing to surface.Add a way to connect two or more racks to further stabilize.

good to organize plates and bowls
My cabinets seem to be higher than normal (plus I'm short) so these were great for creating more "floor" space on the shelf. Liked it so much, I ordered a second set!

Simple design, really efficient storage.
These sturdy racks really allow compact storage of dishes. The small rack holds eight plates and four bowls - all my dinner dishes - in about a quarter of the previous shelf space. The large one holds serving bowls and small platters. I had expected to need a third rack, but everything (admittedly, not a lot) fits in these two. What makes these racks different from others is that the dishes are sideways, so they're easily accessible inside a cabinet. I've gained cabinet space, but more important the dishes are so much easier to access. I live in an RV, and I've been stacking dishes with non-slip foam in between. I may continue to use the foam when we move, but this will be a lot more convenient.

It is so much easier to access the plates and bowls in my RV now and it provided extra space as well.

Good value and sturdy for heavy china plates
I used this for Fiestaware and by putting 8 or more plates, the metal was sturdy enough to display the plates. The rack is not only functional to hold dinner plates, but also to add a pop of color to the china buffet as a plate display. I change out the plates for the season and this plate rack has been a good choice for holding and displaying my Fiestaware. There is a large and a smaller size. I purchased the larger plate rack for dinner size plates.

Lacks functionality
Product does not save space and plates/bowls are difficult to stack. Aesthetically, it looks nice but lacking in functionality. Returned.

Not as great as I’d hoped for.
Not exactly useful considering there is no support holding the plates/bowls in place once it’s not full.Would be helpful if the bottom had a non stick support on them.

Exact Fit
I had VERY limited space but needed to stand my small plates upright in my cabinet and this worked perfectly.
