Grammar: B2 (Collins Work on Your…)

I like the way in which the book is structured. Clear exercises with a key at the back. Very useful as part of a series. I have been teaching a Romanian English for a while, and have worked with him through the Collins Phrasal Verbs and Idioms (both really excellent). For my student the B1 Grammar is therefore not too difficult but, in his case, it is great for revision. I will be continuing on to "Work on your Grammar" Advanced Intermediate and Advanced later on, and will probably be using the Vocabulary books in the future.For one to one teaching, these Collins books are marvellous.

The book is a very smart tool to learn vocabulary and grammar on your own. It is also good for teachers who are teaching students. It's a brilliant program which includes many different ways they can teach theirs students. It's a great book.

J'écris en anglais parce qu’il faut avoir ce niveau de la langue pour utiliser le livre. En particulier, c’est nécessaire de l’utiliser avec un enseignant/une enseignante.The book covers many areas that international students struggle with although the explanations are quite limited and need to be supplimented by material specific to the needs of your students' language group(s). It contains exercises which may sometimes be a bit limited, but I suspect they are as good as you can make them in this context.The presentation is a bit stark and also needs livening up by the teacher.This (and the score) sounds a bit negative. Not at all: I think its a good book but you need to be aware of its limitations.

Está bien para refrescar y practicar aspectos de la gramática inglesa. trae sluciones al final del libro, y eso se agradece, pero se echa en falta que en algunos ejercicios,la correción se limite a una cruz o tick y no pongan la palabra o respuesta que sería correcta. Eso sería de guinda!
