Excellent water fountain! All our pets love it!!!
This has been a great addition to our lives, and our cats lives! My cat who normally doesn't tend to drink that much water LOVES to drink from this fountain, and so do the other two cats and our dog!Your pet's kidneys need lots of fresh water. Don't let it sneak up on you as they get older. Always encourage them to drink water by having it nearby for them in every room.Every week we clean the container, and after we put it down, there is an immediate queue of animals to be first to drink from it. They love drinking from this fountain, so I am absolutely please with it so far.I would highly recommend you get a lot of replacement filters (white sponge and charcoal filter). It recommends changing them at least once every two weeks, but if you see a lot of sediment on them (especially the white sponge), I would recommend changing them every week. It just depends on your water situation. We get the water first from the filtered water that comes from the refrigerator's water dispenser. Then, it is filtered twice by the water fountain, and we tend to see a red/orange accumulation on the white sponge, so we change that filter every week just to be safe.

My dogs love this
We have two cats and three small dogs, one of whom enjoys snapping at water as it's being poured into her bowl from a height. We got this doggy fountain because instead of bubbling up, it pours out of a spout that is high enough to leave room for her snout if she wants to snap at the stream.Predictably, she really likes this fountain! Still not as much as water being poured, but definitely more than bowls of stagnant water. I like that my pets can lap from the shallow basin but aren't able to go overboard with it. Our late dog used to gulp down so much water so quickly that we'd end up having to clean up a puddle when she inevitably spit some of it back up a minute later. This prevents that, but still lets pets drink their fill. The only thing that I wish was improved is its refillability. Two issues there.First, there's no off switch: you have to unplug it to turn it off to lift the lid to refill it, every time. Otherwise the pump motor runs dry for a second and then you end up having to unplug it for a second to reset it anyway, or else the stream is very weak and noisy. You can sometimes fill it very carefully by tipping the top backwards and using a pitcher with a spout to pour water in at the lifted edge, but as often as not it still raises the pump out of the water. I wish it could be refilled without pulling the pump out of the water.Second, you can't see inside to know how much water is left in the tank. "Out of sight, out of mind"... which means if often takes the pump grinding dry for me to notice it needs a refill. If I had to repurchase, I'd get a model with a viewing window to solve this problem.Overall, this is a great fountain that would work for multiple cats and small-to-medium dogs without issue. The basin part might be a little too small for big pups, but it holds a few days of water for our creatures. I also really like the easy-to-clean stainless steel construction, and the way the water is filtered.

I’d recommend
I got this fountain because one of my cats is OBSESSED with water and would refuse drinking any water unless it was coming from sink faucet and I don’t have time for that lol. My other fountains aren’t shaped like the faucet, she never liked them. She instantly fell in love with this one and it’s now all my cats favorite fountain. It’s easy to clean and I love that it’s not plastic. Only kinda annoying thing is the filters are a bit pricey. But if you change out the water frequently and wipe it down, you don’t have to switch em every 2 weeks. I do like once a month ish maybe longer and it seems to be fine. I also use purified water. Overall I’d recommend.

3 cats all approved
At last! A successful fountain my 3 cats actually use! This is #4. Either they were difficult to clean , or the cats walked past it. I tossed or gave away the others. This was my last resort. I got tired of them pleading at 2 am for " sippy water" from the bathroom sink. Spoiled? Oh yes. But now , this seems to be their new best friend. All 3 use it. Not the faucet part, but they love lapping from the bottom dish part. I'll take what I can get. Plus it's very affordable. And totally silent, since it's in my bedroom.

My cats like this water fountain however...
This is a nice fountain & my cats like it however, if I knew how expensive the replacement filters are, I would have purchased a different fountain. Filters cost a FULL 2X more than any other filters for any other fountain yet they do NOT last longer. You will have to change the filter every 2-3 weeks. Filters are (3) for $14.99 ($5.00 each), a COMPLETE RIPOFF & there are NO other more reasonably priced filters available to purchase for this fountain. Do yourself a favor & check the price of the replacement filters BEFORE purchasing a DIFFERENT fountain. This fountain is NOT worth the price of the filters.

Easy to clean
Replaced a much more complex cat fountain with this one. Cleaning is a breeze, takes 5 minutes at most. And the cats love drinking from the spout.

I liked it at first
I was really pleased because this was really quiet and my cats were not afraid of it. However, I really battled the mold issues and then after 3 months it quit working. I took really good care of it too.
