SBR blended NR 10" boots with polyester lining - Slip-resistant 100% Natural Rubber outsole - Removable orthopedic designed insole - Unisex fit - Non-marking sole Blooming” is a process that can sometimes occur with rubber boots when they have been exposed to air and UV rays. The whitish color is a harmless talc powder than migrates through rubber. All of Viking boots have a lacquer coating on them to reduce this occurrence, but blooming can occur. A simple washing with a mild soap & water, or applying a silicone spray coating will remove this blooming residue.

These fit a wide foot.
I wear a 14 4E or a 13 5E, depending on the lath the manufacturer uses and depending even more on what I can find. As far as I can determine, no one makes an extra wide waterproof boot. After reading a couple of reviews that said these fit a wide foot, I took a deep breath and ordered a pair of 14s. I CAN GET THEM ON!!! And, once on, they don’t hurt. They are tight, but I’ve taken my dogs on two mile walks without pain.Would I like them wider. Yes. It’s work to pull them on and, with the seal that forms when they’re on, harder than heck to get them off! However, this is the first pair of rubber boots I’ve been able to wear since my 4H days back before my feet splayed (Over 5 decades ago), so I’m happy as all get out.I suppose I should also mention that I am very happy with the quality of construction. These boots should last me a long time. And at half the price of Mucks or Bogs, too.Size 14 is as large as Amazon offers. If they were available in a 15, I would probably try that. They aren’t a long 14, so I think an extra size wouldn’t be too clownish and might provide enough extra width to make them easier to put on and off.

Love them!!! Great boots for fishing!!
I bought these boots for saltwater fishing out of San Diego CA on a 1.5 day boat, so I fished in them from when the sun came up till the sun went down 5:00am-9:00 pm and I never take a break. I fished them hard all day long and my feet felt great. The insoles that come with the boot seem nice but I decided to purchase some Dr. Scholls Gel insoles for work boots and my feet never felt so good. I can't tell you how nice it was to have rubber boots on the boat and not be running around the deck with soaked tennis shoes!! Kept the water off my feet when the deck hands were washing down the deck every time we landed a fish. Also makes it easy to clean the blood and salt off and the best part is my shoes and socks don't smell like anchovies or sardines or dead fish for the rest of their lives!! I wear a size 10.5 shoe so I purchased size 11 and they fit perfect, not so tight that I can't get them off but also not too big either. My feet stayed cool and comfortable all day long. I have to say they are almost a perfect fit. Love them!! I can never go back to wearing anything but these boots now every time I head out on the big blue.

Great looking and wearing rain boots
My Bogs do well in the worst weather but are made for winter temperatures. My SWIMS are great for warm days but only in light rain. I needed boots for warm weather downpours that could protect my trouser hems without overheating my feet. So I ordered these and a pair of Tretorn Wings, both in navy. I kept the Tretorns only because the navy color was darker and flatter (more of a matte). In other respects, the two pair were quite similar. Both are styled simply, with prominent white trim at sole and opening. The Tretorns have a wing tab at the back of the opening to help tug the boots on. Though the Vikings lack the tab, I didn't really miss it, either. The boots were easy to pull on and pull off. Both the Vikings and Tretorns run long and a bit wide, as previous reviewers have noted. Though I normally wear a US 13D, I ordered US 12D and found the fit fine. Both pairs of boots have inconsequential insoles that are easily removed to accommodate my insole of choice for boots: Superfeet merinoGREY, size F. With the Superfeet in place, I had no trouble maintaining my normal pace and stride while walking.

Cool looking, functional rain boots.
These are fun, modern looking rain boots. They do have a white “V” stripe on both sides (see attached photo). The website photos show plain, dark blue boots, but that is inaccurate; they will arrive with the white “V” stripes. These are somewhat narrow boots, but the length is true to size. The arch support is minimal, so I will be adding orthotic inserts for added foot comfort. These boots will be perfect for running errands or doing work outside in rainy weather. They also appear to be very well constructed.

Great fishing/deck boots available in smaller sizes!
I have had a hard time finding good deck boots for deep sea fishing trips that were available in smaller sizes for women. I am a size 5-5.5 in women's (sometimes a 6 in sneakers), so I bought a size 5 in these boots and they were a little big still. But with socks, and knowing I want them to come off easily should I go overboard, I kept them and wore them all day on the boat and was very happy with how comfortable they were. Good boot for the price as well.

These are not women's sizes....they are men's boots.
These were touted as women's boots. But they are sized for men. I purchased two pairs trying to get my size. Had I been told they were men's I would have bought a size 7 men and they would have fit my women size 8. Lucky for me I had two male friends who needed them and fit them. So beware ...they are good boots but if you are female to a size down from what you wear. Still hunting for a pair of good rubber boots....

If VANS made a rain boot, this would be it
These are nice boots. They're definitely rain boots, not snow boots--they have no tread on the bottom, more like a skater shoe. I like that they're less bulky than many other rain boots I've tried (about 27 oz each). However, they run somewhat large; I normally wear a 10½, and the 10 was still big on me. I might have kept them if the blue rain coat I got had worked out...

One of the best purchases ever
I always dreaded storm/rain boots. I have Bogs for cold weather, heavy, warm, indestructible, love/hate them. I needed something for Fall weather. Tired of getting my feet wet. These are incredibly light and soft (for rain boots, of course). They're also very grippy even on wet smooth surfaces. I can even ride a bike in these comfortably. One of the best purchases ever. They seem to be true to size. I wear 9 and bought these in 9 as well and I can comfortably wear heavy merino socks with these. They smell somewhat, but I hope that will go away eventually, no big deal really, but you wouldn't want them under your desk at work.

Ok but would not buy again
Prefer a leg and soil rubber a little thicker to better hold the footWill continue my quest to find a replacement to my Tretorn Wings Vinter now unfortunately discontinued
