I got this because it was becoming tiresome to keep making my own garam masala and spice mix for when I made Tikka chicken or Masala. I figured I would give this a try and see how the blend was. Well, it's fantastic. The aroma of the spice blend is amazing, they are really well blended and compliment each other so well. Easy to use and apply to anything.The flavor is just wonderful and exactly what I was looking for. It's a perfect spice for any type of Tikka chicken and especially for a nice Tikka Masala gravy. I put a little in the pan to toast it for a few seconds before adding the tomatoes and it really brings the dish to life. Would highly recommend this if you want a great substitute for mixing your own spices.

Have not used this spice yet but if it is as good as the curry power I will be happy. I bought this brand because of the great flavor of their curry powder.

I really love this spice blend, when the curry powder you get at the local grocery store is getting boring definitely try this. The coriander is really too present for me as it has an earthy taste but that can easily be managed when put into a curry. It's definitely spicy but is not overwhelming for someone who enjoyes spice

Really great masala for marinating. The flavor comes through and not overpowering. I mix it with canola oil make a paste and score the meat. Let it marinate approximately 4-6 hours. Perfect for the grill.

This spice blend represents great flavor and great value. I am not Indian, so I cannot attest to how authentic the flavor profile is, but it is exactly what my kitchen needed to give dishes some bold South Asian flair.It has just enough heat to satisfy people like me that want heat in everything, while not being offensive to people who are more sensitive. If I am to critique the blend, I believe there is more paprika than is necessary for flavor, but since it imparts that beautiful color, I think it gets a pass. Perhaps more turmeric and capsicum would be nice, though I tend to put bell peppers or jalapeños in dishes that utilize this blend, so again, it’s probably fine. The takeaway here is that it is a great starting point, and you should tweak it how you like. Or don’t!

I made my first dish of lamb Tikki masala for my and my husband. He was very impressed and couldn’t stop saying how delightful and tasty our dinner was that evening. He loved every bite! Great product and organic too. Win-win!
