The real target windows are our 1st floor old town house with very high windows, the sort of situation that requires detaching lower sash windows to get to all outer sides and precarious cleaning with a telescopic device (sponge+scraper) with average results.This robot was fairly easy to unpack and get to work. Very limited instructions (which is fine for me) although almost nothing on how to use the spray feature, but easy to work out.Spray - this is good for lots of dirt although smears a lot. i put a tiny amount of washing-up liquid in although not sure if this benefits anything.Buffing - this is what i call the dry runs, which does a reasonable job. May require a 2nd run of this (that's 3x if you do a spray run). But reasonable.Area and obstacles - hmm. Being a circular device, the corners are not possible (quite obvious when you think about it). This didn't bother me much, they are either up high out of sight or low down where i can take a cloth myself. I have mixed feedback on obstacles, with some it retreats and goes over and others it returns without completing that row (some manual intervention was required at times).Speed - it's certainly not fast. I did find myself thinking i should get the basin, sponge and scraper and complete in a fraction of the time. But where's the fun in that?The device comes with plenty of replacement cloths which is good, you do require at least one replacement per session.Noise is quite noticeable but didn't bother me. You'll find that you'll sit and watch the robot at work, maybe listening to music or checking your social media etc.It did fall with me (both cloths fell off into neighbour's garden, and i think i split a cloth plastic mount), caused by me not putting the cloths on properly.I found a solution to place+recover the robot from high outside using the window pole. Using the hook on the end, i was able to reach out of the window and place it high outside. This is a great solution although comes with a small amount of risk.Overall i'm happy with it, even if i just use the pole to achieve the really difficult windows or to avoid hinging the sash windows to access outer sides.

Easy to operate, does a good job cleaning most of window, needs a square attachment also. Definitely good value for money because of it's many uses.
