The reviews are true about the tightness of the cuffs, it's a very tight elastic cord. BUT, the difference than your normal elastic waistband: I cannot find drawstring pajamas that don't have elastic SEWN INTO THEM. So, I have experience in trying to cut elastic out of clothes. These bloomers' elastic sits freely in the fabric, so one could get in there and cut the elastic all together - it's in my photos.I took a bunch of photos of how you can't see any bulge of thigh at the elastic, and the look of them short or pulled longer. And a cosplay example.

I have no complaints whatsoever. I got an XL, I am 5'6.5 and probably about 145lbs, but that's not as important as that my waist is about 32". I'm not sure about my thighs, but you can see the picture and judge for yourself.The material is thick and sturdy/strong but not uncomfortable. The elastic could be tighter, but I don't think it needs to be and going down a size would be too small and you could easily replace it with tie-able ribbon. And... POCKETS! I do dress-up party entertainment for kids. I can now hide my car keys rather than keep them in the bag the kids are constantly raiding. Plus, they are always climbing around my skirts. These are a great way to handle that, and they'll be perfect for changing costumes in the street... no more being naked!I love them so much, I honestly could not be happier with this purchase.

I am 5’6” tall, 160 pounds, 34 DD. I exercise 175 minutes per week. Usually I wear a large, but since I wanted to wear these as pajamas I went up to the XL. The elastic in the thighs was tight. I have muscle, but I wouldn’t call my thighs large. The elastic left indentations when I wore them overnight.These aren’t cut people-shaped with room for a backside, so the back seam was uncomfortable, too. I wouldn’t say I have a large backside either. Sir Mix-a-lot would probably not look at me twice.So I opened up the pocket where the elastic was cased and cut it. They are fine now. I don’t mind a little DIY adjustment at this price. They’re “poofy” enough to accommodate my backside without ballooning strangely in the front.I love the lace on them. It’s very robust. The pockets are almost big enough to get my whole hand into them and small objects don’t fall out of them.I’m pleased.

I'm always nervous when buying clothes online but these fit perfectly. I'm 5'7" and weigh about 165 lbs. They're made very well, the material is thicker than I thought it would be, AND THEY HAVE POCKETS. I'm in love. Mostly I'm just glad they fit on my thick thighs lol.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  These are ok. The material is food I like the pockets and the construction but they are small in the thigh bands for them to be an XL. I have a thigh circumference of about 26 inches where these land on my thigh and it is very tight. The max stretch on the elastic is about 26 inches and it is not comfortable. Luckily the elastic is free inside the band and not sewn in so I can easily remove it and replace it with a longer piece. It just seems to me like they expended the waist for size but forgot about the thigh area. Otherwise great bloomers.

Smelled like soil/rain out of the package. The thigh elastic is tight and the waistband is way too huge on me. Material feels a bit rough.I bought the size Large and that fit just right over my 42" hips. It has just the right amount of fullness without looking clownish. I like odd fashion pieces and I'm glad I bought this!

These bloomers are high quality and well made. The sizing wasn't quite what I expected though. I ordered a M thinking that it's Asian sizing (I'm 114 lbs and 5'3" with a 27-28 inch waist) and it was too big, so I had to return. The size S fits well.

I was so excited these actually fit me so well. They’re decent quality and look authentic (I’m using these for burlesque/theatre). I’m 5’11, 190# with ample booty and typically wear 12-14 in jeans and pants, and the XL fits perfectly
