Raindrop USA - Clever Choice Test Strips with Bonus: Pharmacist Choice 30G Lancets for HD and Voice Meters (200 Test Strips w/ 200 Lancets)

I am unable to trust the readings of the Clever Choice Voice HD Blood Glucose Monitor, as the readings jump all over the place every time you test it. If you check your blood sugar now and test it again barely 5 seconds later and then barely 5 seconds after that to see if you will get the same results, you will get a different result every time. So you cannot trust the readings on this monitor at all. I bought the Clever Choice Solution to test it and the readings with the solution is within range of Level 2 and the test strips are Level 2, however the readings still jump all over the place, whether it is solution or blood. I noticed that other customers had the same issue with other glucose monitors but I was hoping that this one would have been different. Instead they are all the same. Totally unreliable and I do not know how this product got such high ratings. I give this product 2 stars and will revise my rating if I see an improvement later on. For now I am just highly disappointed.

This item arrived today 12/29/17. It is a nice item, despite a few flaws. The volume goes up to level 7, the highest. I am hard of hearing and wish it was louder. The lancet holder I feel is made cheaply and should have been made better. I use 1-2 so when the needle touches the skin its not too bad. The instructions are ok but could have been better. To start the meter you need to insert a test strip. There should be another way to turn it on. It comes with a handy pouch which is nice just wish it had a hook for my belt. I like you don't need any controls for the test strips. When I did the test for the first time today, I did not eat for 2 hours since I had stomach surgery for cancer in Sept 2017. The test result was 143. I never had a blood glucose that high and I am not diabetic. I will discuss this with my doctor. The meter came with a box of lancets, and 2 boxes of test strips. I looked on my iPhone for a blood glucose app and there are a few of them. You can use one that you like. The meter also comes with a small book for you to write down the results which I wont use since I have the app. All in all, I would recommend this blood glucose meter. I hope that Raindrop makes the lancet holder better.

T\I have been using these strips since 2008,. They are as accurate as those from the big 3 makers, and cost about the same as the COPAY for them was on my insurance. When I became unexpectedly unemployed at the start of the Great Recession, that cost was what allowed me to keep managing my blood sugar effectively.I like everything about this product except the recent 50% price hike. That increase and a still-tight budget forced me to embrace a change to a different product. Like all BG test products marketed in the US it is just as accurate, but the "basic" meter I got is cheaply made and harder for me to use compared to the Clever meters.If the price hike isn't an issue for you, I'd suggest you stay with or start using theses strips.

Got this for my husband as he is now boarderline diabetic. Wanted to get something that would help us watch his blood sugar. It is really easy to use and I like the fact that the strips are not that expensive and there is no coding required. It is helping him get a better understanding on how his diet changes are affecting his levels. Hoping his bloodwork in a few months will show some improvement.

I ordered this for my husband. He was in need of more strips for his clever choice, but the company he had gotten them from no longer carry the strips. I was glad to find that this meter still exist because he was comfortable using the meter, the price was just right and he didn't have to use different strips.

I was not a diabetic at the time I order this product. I jump to fast about getting this product .
